Hunt Showdown is a multiplayer FPS game developed by Crytek, the famed developer of the Cysis Series. They launched in early access in 2018 and have been going strong since with regular updates and patches. But like all online games, the rollout of updates and patches can take the servers offline. Besides the announced updates, server glitches and DDoS attacks can cause server issues. Trying to play the game can result in server errors in these situations. Knowing the Hunt Showdown server status can save you the time you would otherwise spend troubleshooting your connection. We update this post regularly to reflect if the Hunt Showdown servers are down.
Error Codes that Appear When the Server is Unavailable
- Network Error Code 0x7111: Players are kicked out of the game when this error code triggers. This error appears due to an interruption of communication between the client and the server. In that case, you must check the game’s current server status. If the server is down, the error will be fixed automatically once the server is back on track.
- Connection Error 0x30001: This is another connection-related error in Hunt Showdown. According to reports, it occurs when the player cap is reached. To avoid this error, simply wait or try logging into the game earlier or playing the game during off-peak hours.
- Error Code 0x30005: Error code 0x30005 is a backend server error that shows that the connection has not been established. Some players have resolved this error by restarting the game and updating Windows.
- Error Code 0x30003: This is also an annoying error that prevents players from joining the server. However, to fix this error, you can try restarting the game or your device. Furthermore, make sure your internet connection doesn’t have any connectivity-related issues.
- Error Code 0x20005: Many players report this specific error, which occurs during matchmaking and prevents players from joining games. To fix this error, ensure the game server is up, and your internet connection is stable. You can also try disabling your firewall or antivirus program and updating the game to the latest version.
