Moly Root is a special flower you can find early in Titan Quest 2. It has a magical power that turns things back to their real form. You can use it to remove curses, like changing someone back from an animal or turning yourself back into a human after being cursed. It’s also used in some fun puzzles and hidden areas in the game. In this guide, we have covered where to find Moly Root and how to use it to unlock secrets and prizes.
Where to Use Moly Root
Moly root is a special material that returns items to their original shape. It has the power to undo curses. In the Flooded Farmlands, moly root is found in three different places.
The First Moly Root
You will find the first Moly Root in the garden area between the Temple of Glaukos and the Pyrgos Village.
The Second Moly Root
You will find the second Moly Root at the Temple of Glaukos. Follow the priestess after you have absorbed the Titan Ichor. Find the blossom on a cliff. Be on the lookout for any Icthian enemies around.
The Third Moly Root
You will find the third Moly Root far up north in the Flooded Farmlands, near Farmlands Crossroads. It is situated on a road that connects to a small northeastern town.
How to Use Moly Root
Visit the Farmlands Crossroads to use Moly Root. The trader is located behind the trapdoor-equipped structure. You will be cursed and changed into a spider if you enter. To apply the Moly Root, continue until you come to a door. To transform back into a human, utilise the door in your inventory to open it.
You have to gather eight spider excretions from the green spiders that are found throughout the cellar. Once you collect them all, search for a Cauldron by moving deeper into the dungeon. Give it your all to gain experience and a permanent +10 Energy stat boost.
In Pyrgos Village, you can also transform the afflicted man who makes clucking noises like a chicken into his actual form by using Moly Root. When you bring him closer to his actual self, he joins you on the “chicken puzzle,” a side mission. He will accompany you while you tour poultry coops throughout the town. Chickens congregate in six strategic locations in Pyrgos. You will receive Embers of Night, experience, and gold when you have visited each one.
