How to Unlock & Use Wind Sense Ability – Where Winds Meet

Wind Sense is a powerful detection ability in Where Winds Meet that makes exploration, stealth, and combat much easier. It highlights enemies, interactable objects, hidden clues, and even NPC items, helping you stay aware of everything happening around you. Wind Sense gives you the extra awareness you need to stay one step ahead.

Wind Sense Ability in Where Winds Meet

Wind Sense gives you a sense of the environment by interpreting the wind. When you use it, the game indicates to you the important things that are near, such as items, hidden objects, or people whom you should be noticing. It notifies you about everything that is coming nearer or that is worth looking at. No extra ranks or upgrades are required for Wind Sense; it always works at the same level once you have it.

How to Unlock Wind Sense Ability

You can get Wind Sense unlocked by going to the Talent Tree and choosing its skill node in the Basic area. First, open the Develop tab. After that, go to Abilities and scroll down until Mystic Skills appears. In this section, on the right side, you will find Wind Sense under the General tab. If it is not activated yet, simply hit X, and it will be unlocked. The game will indicate the button to be used for its activation; normally, it is R3, but it may vary based on your gaming platform.

How to Use Wind Sense Ability

Wind Sense is one of the most helpful skills in Where Winds Meet. With its help, you can very rapidly reveal the location of enemies, important objects and everything in the surroundings that you may have overlooked. Furthermore, it enables you to determine the vision cone of an enemy, which makes it more convenient for you to move around undetected.

During combat, Wind Sense can reveal an enemy’s strengths and weaknesses so you know exactly how to approach the fight. When interacting with NPCs, it lets you check what items they’re carrying, which is great for using Heavenly Snatch or negotiating with them.

Moreover, Wind Sense will be needed for many of the quests in order to locate the targets or uncover hidden clues. If you ever feel lost or uncertain about the next step, simply turn on Wind Sense; it will probably uncover something that you have missed.
