Getting around quickly and safely is important in Death Stranding 2, especially as the world gets bigger and tougher. Thankfully, the game gives you several vehicles to help make your journey easier. In this guide, we’ll show you how to unlock the Tri-Cruiser Bike, Pickup Off-Roader, and Coffin Board, and explain what makes each of them helpful during your adventure.
How to Unlock Tri Cruiser Bike in Death Stranding 2
Once you arrive at Lake Knot City in the Central Region, check the terminal and look for Order 23 under the “Orders for Sam” section. Just complete this order, and right after that, you’ll unlock the ability to build a Reverse Trike at any distribution center in the game.
The Reverse Trike is a fast and reliable vehicle that’s great for getting around quickly, whether you’re on smooth roads or rough terrain. It’s especially handy when you need to make a quick escape from danger. To build one, you’ll need 220 metals and 160 ceramics.
How to Unlock Pickup Offroader in Death Stranding 2
The Pickup Off-Roader is a large truck built for carrying a lot more cargo than other vehicles. It’s not as fast as the Tri-Cruiser, but what it lacks in speed, it makes up for with tons of storage space. It’s perfect for handling important deliveries or picking up lost packages and resources you find during your journey. Plus, its covered roof helps protect your cargo from harsh weather and the damaging effects of Timefall.
You’ll unlock it after completing Delivery 13, and building it works just like fabricating any other vehicle just make sure you have the right materials ready.
How to Unlock Coffin in Death Stranding 2
The Coffin Board is a special vehicle you’ll unlock about halfway through the story, right after you connect The Mechanic to the Chiral Network. You can build it from the Tools section in the fabrication menu. It floats just above the ground and water, kind of like a surfboard, and lets you travel super fast. Just keep in mind it only works in areas that are part of the Chiral Network. So as you play, make sure to connect optional facilities to expand your network coverage and get the most out of it.
