How To Unlock Tier 5 Tools and Gear in RuneScape DragonWilds Fellhollow

Unlocking Tier 5 tools and gear in RuneScape: DragonWilds – Fell Hollow is important if you want to survive stronger enemies and gather better resources. If you’re feeling stuck or unsure how to move into Tier 5, the process is much simpler. This guide will tell you how the Blast Furnace is used, where the new materials come from, and how everything comes together so you can start crafting powerful Tier 5 tools and gear.

How To Unlock Tier 5 Tools and Gear

As you progress through the Fell Hollow, the Blast Furnace station will unlock on its own, and you’ll have the ability to craft tier 5 tools and gear. Most of the materials required for the Blast Furnace are the things that you would have already. The only material introduced in this update is Draconic Leather.

How to Get Draconic Leather

To get Draconic Leather, you’ll need to hunt Dragon Wolves roaming around Fell Hollow. When you defeat them, they drop Dragon Wolf Hide. Take this hide back to your Tannery, place it inside, and you’ll be able to process it into Draconic Leather.

Fueling the Blast Furnace

The Blast Furnace runs on Fuel Pellets. To craft Fuel Pellets, you’ll need coarse animal fur, adhesive, and charcoal. Once crafted, you can stack up to 50 fuel pellets at a time. After that, simply place the fuel pellets into the Blast Furnace.

Blast Furnace

The Blast Furnace converts iron bars into steel bars. One of the main purposes of steel is its use in casting Tier 5 gear, which is required for fighting powerful enemies and mining in Tier 5 areas without any problems. With all the items in your hand, you can easily unlock tier 5 tools and gear from the blast furnace.
