If you’re looking for a fast, hard-hitting move that’s perfect for PvP, the Talon Strike skill is one you’ll definitely need to unlock in Where Winds Meet. This skill lets you dash in, break an enemy’s guard, and follow up with quick damage, making it great for both offence and mobility. Here’s how to unlock Talon Strike and why it’s such a powerful skill in battle.
How To Unlock The Talon Strike Skill

In order to get the Talon Strike skill, it is necessary to see the Diving Bird at the Palace of Annals first. First, go south from the Palace and pass over the long suspension bridge, which takes you to a tall, rock pillar. Watch out for the enemy archers here; take them out so you can safely make your way across.

After you have crossed over, turn towards the west and move down to a lower ledge. A bird nest will be waiting for you there. Initiate a Skill Theft mini-game by clicking on it. Your task is to hit the button at the right moment when the bird goes down and comes up. If you pass the mini-game, you will “watch” the falcon, and this will give you access to the Talon Strike skill.
Talon Strike Skill In Where Winds Meet

Talon Strike is the best choice for the Arena. You rush in, hit your opponent to break their guard, and then proceed with a quick three-hit combo for constant damage. It is particularly effective in PvP since it provides you with both the power of mobility and a dependable means to break an opponent’s defence.
The skill improves as you upgrade it. The first upgrade increases your dash range by approximately 1.5 meters, which allows you to close the distance more easily. Gradually, you will get a bonus: every time you break someone’s defence using this move, their defence is reduced by 10% and their endurance recovery is delayed by half for five seconds. At the final level, the distance of your dash is increased by another 1.5 meters, thereby making Talon Strike even more aggressive and versatile in combat.
