How to Unlock Sandcrawler Chassis Mk6 in Dune: Awakening

The Sandcrawler Chassis Mk6 is a powerful vehicle component that gives your vehicle better armor, more utility slots, and a larger fuel tank, perfect for surviving longer trips across the harsh desert. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to unlock the chassis, what you need to craft it, and other ways you can get it.

How to Unlock Sandcrawler Chassis Mk6

The Sandcrawler Chassis Mk6 is a vehicle component you’ll need if you’re aiming for a tougher, more fuel-efficient ride in the desert. Here’s what it offers:

  • Armour: 150
  • Utility Slots: 2
  • Fuel Capacity: 750

To craft the chassis, you first need to unlock its schematic. Head over to the Vehicles section under Plastanium Products in your research menu. It costs 60 Intel Points to learn, and you must have already spent at least 1,200 Intel Points in total. This schematic is part of the Research Kit: Sandcrawler Mk6 Assembly.

How to Craft Sandcrawler Chassis Mk6

Once the schematic is unlocked, make sure you have a Construction Tool equipped. You’ll also need to either carry the following items or have them stored in your base inventory.

You’ll need access to an Advanced Vehicle Fabricator, and here are the materials required:

  • 1,050x Water
  • 80x Plastanium Ingots
  • 36x Advanced Servoks
  • 45x Cobalt Paste
  • 55x Spice Melange
  • 15x Carbide Scraps

Once everything’s ready, you’ll be able to place and craft the Sandcrawler Chassis Mk6.

You don’t always have to craft the Sandcrawler Chassis Mk6 yourself you can also buy it or its schematic from other players through the Exchange.

The Exchange is a server-wide, player-run auction house where players can list and sell all kinds of items, equipment, and schematics. Prices there aren’t fixed; they’re completely set by the players, so keep an eye out for good deals (or rising prices).

Another option is trading directly with other players. Head to social hubs like Arrakeen, where players often gather to chat and trade. If you’re lucky, you might find someone willing to sell or trade a chassis on the spot.
