Upgrading your Gear Bench to level 2 in ARC Raiders improves your gear and survivability in tougher missions. To get this upgrade, you’ll need to collect Power Cables, Electrical Components, and Hornet Drivers materials that can be found in specific areas or dropped by certain enemies. How to Unlock Gear Bench 2 – ARC Raiders
To upgrade your Gear Bench to level 2, you’ll need 3 Power Cables, 5 Electrical Components, and 5 Hornet Drivers. Once you’ve collected everything and completed the upgrade, you’ll unlock the ability to craft stronger gear like the Heavy Shield, Combat Mk.2, Looting Mk.2, and Tactical Mk.2, giving you better protection and performance in tougher battles.
Power Cables
You can find Power Cables near the North Power Generation Complex on the Dam map it’s one of the more reliable spots to search. Another good place is the Spaceport Departure Building, where Power Cables tend to spawn frequently. In general, check industrial zones, ARCs, or damaged machines if it looks electronic, there’s a good chance you’ll find a Power Cable nearby.
Electrical Components
These are used in crafting a wide range of items and can be recycled into crafting materials as well. To get Advanced Electrical Components, you can travel to the Pilgrims Peak in Bluegate. There are buildings here that you’ll have to raid to get these components.
Additionally, you can craft these by using 3×Wires and 2×Electrical Components at the Refiner 2 workbench.
Hornet Drivers
Hornet drones are quite common across most Arc Raiders maps, but you’ll usually spot them in open areas. They’re often accompanied by other ARC units, such as Wasps. Each Hornet has two propellers, and targeting those is the quickest way to bring them down, though how easily you can destroy them depends on the weapon you’re carrying.
