Dragon’s Breath skill in Where Winds Meet is a powerful mystic ability that lets you get drunk, breathe fire, and boost your defences all at once. Dragon’s Breath skill is great for both damage and survival. In this guide, you will find everything you need to know about how to unlock the skill, how it works, and the best ways to use it in combat.
How to Unlock Dragon’s Breath Skill

To get the Dragon’s Breath mystic skill, go to the fairground tower in Kiang City. Inside, talk to the two NPCs on the left. Partway through the conversation, one of them will run away.

After that, fast-travel back to the entrance of Kiang City to reset the area. Then head to the rooftop shown on the map. Once you arrive, wait until 11:00 a.m. the next day. When the time changes, the NPC who ran off should appear in front of you.
Use the Celestial Seize skill to pickpocket the book he is carrying. If you’ve already reached Kiang City in the main story, you should automatically have this skill. To get the Celestial Seize skill in Where Winds Meet, read our guide on How to Get the Celestial Seize in Where Winds Meet.
Steal the book without getting caught, then return it to the other NPC at the tower. When you hand over the book, the mini quest will finish. Now, to get the Dragon’s Breath skill, you need to open your journal. Then go to the Wandering Tales section, and claim the reward for “The Fairgrounds Part 9.” One of the rewards is the Dragon’s Breath Mystic Skill.
Some players complete the quest to get the skill but forget to press Start to actually claim it, so the skill never shows up. If this happens to you, just open your journal and accept the rewards. If you’ve already done that, check your gear and read the document you received. If you forget to accept the reward, you will be stuck wondering where the skill is.
How to Use Dragon’s Breath Skill
When you use Dragon’s Breath, your character drinks and becomes intoxicated. You can then breathe fire using Qi, hitting enemies twice and causing an ignition effect. You also get a 15% damage-reduction boost and extra fortitude, making you tougher in battle.
This skill works well for both tank and damage-dealer builds because it gives you solid damage and good defensive buffs. At higher tiers, it also pairs nicely with the Drunken Poet style, giving you even stronger benefits.
