As you travel through the land, you’ll come across many lakes, ponds, and other bodies of water. If you want to explore these watery areas, it good to know how swimming works. Swimming doesn’t use up any stamina or SP, so you can take your time and enjoy the water without worrying about running out of energy.
In Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, your character automatically starts swimming when they get close to or fall into any body of water. Just jump into a lake or pond, and you’ll begin floating right away. You won’t drown, so you can swim around without worry.
To get out of the water and back onto land, just swim toward the shore and press the climb button when you’re close enough. Here’s how to do it on each platform:
- PlayStation: Press the Circle button
- Xbox: Press the B button
- Switch: Press the A button
Your character will automatically climb out once you’re near the edge, but keep in mind you can’t dive or go underwater your character can only swim on the surface. Some parts of the water in Mysteria can’t be accessed for swimming. These spots are usually blocked by invisible barriers.
