How to Study the Strange Blind Girl Statue & Puzzle Solution – Where Winds Meet ‘Blind to the World’ Quest

The Blind to the World quest in Where Winds Meet takes you into one of Moonveil Mountain’s hidden shrines, where you’ll uncover old secrets, solve puzzles, and help Uncle Tian piece together the truth behind a mysterious blind girl statue. This guide walks you through how to start the quest, drain the lake, and solve the statue puzzle step by step.

How to Start the Blind to the World Quest

To unlock the Jianghu Legacy – Blind to the World quest, head over to Moonveil Mountain and talk to Uncle Tian. After chatting with him, dive into the lake nearby. Use your Wind Sense at the bottom to spot the drainage system.

To empty the lake, just follow the chains underwater; they each lead to a mechanism you need to interact with. Each one has a small chest beside it, so grab the loot while you’re there. Make sure to resurface now and then so your breath meter doesn’t run out.

Once you’ve activated all three mechanisms, the lake will drain. Talk to Uncle Tian again, then head down into the drained lake together. Step onto the big stone slab at the bottom to activate the Blind Girl statue puzzle and move the quest forward.

The first big puzzle you’ll run into is a circle of pressure plates surrounding the Moon Goddess statue. If you step on them in the wrong order, the statue shocks you, and depending on your difficulty, you might even get knocked back to a checkpoint.

To solve it properly, start by stepping onto the big plate right in front of the statue. This will light up four smaller plates around it. Now go behind the Moon Goddess and step on the plate directly at her back. After that, simply walk around the statue and activate the remaining glowing plates one by one in a clockwise direction. See the picture above and step on the plates as numbered in the picture.

If you accidentally step on the wrong plate at any point, the trap will trigger, and you’ll have to wait a moment for everything to reset before trying again. But once you hit all the plates in the correct order, you’ll hear a short musical cue, and a stone door nearby will slide open so you and Uncle Tian can continue deeper into the shrine.
