How to Sell Trash in Schedule 1

Cash can be tight in Schedule 1, particularly when you are just beginning. Fortunately, opportunity is abundant literally on the streets. Trash is one of the simplest methods through which you can get some quick cash early on in the game. Through some junk and a Cash for Trash machine, which you’ll find relatively close by, you can begin filling your wallet in no time. Here’s all you need to know about converting garbage into gold.

How to Sell Trash

You can sell trash at any Cash for Trash machine in Schedule 1. These machines are bright green and easy to spot on the streets. Conveniently, there’s one right outside your motel room the first base you’ll have access to in the game.

Litter is scattered all over the nearby streets, so you won’t have to go far to start collecting. When you see a piece of junk, just point your crosshair (that small white dot on your screen) at it and press E to pick it up. Then, walk up to a Cash for Trash machine, open it, and drop the trash inside. You can load in multiple items at once.

When you’re ready, press the button on the front of the machine. It’ll calculate the total value of the trash and spit out the cash you’ve earned. Just interact with the machine again to add the money to your wallet.

If you want to speed things up, head over to Dan’s Hardware and grab a Trash Grabber for just $20. This tool lets you pick up trash faster and carry more at once. Once your Trash Grabber bag is full (100% capacity), you can dump everything into the machine in one go and cash out even quicker.

In Schedule 1, you can’t sell back any items you’ve bought only junk and litter can be traded in for cash. Once you’ve spent money on something, it’s yours for good. If you decide you don’t want it anymore, your only option is to drop it and leave it behind. There’s no way to return it for a refund, not even a partial one.
