If you want to play RuneScape: Dragonwilds with your friends, you can set up co-op play. The game offers a streamlined multiplayer setup that lets you host or join servers with ease. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know to get started – linking your accounts and creating or joining a server.
How to play RuneScape Dragonwilds Co-op
To jump into multiplayer in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you’ll first need to link your Epic Games account with your Steam account. To link your accounts, just log into your Epic Games profile and head to the Apps and Accounts section to connect your Steam. Once that’s done, you’ll be set to host or join multiplayer worlds.
Creating a world gives you the option to make it accessible to friends or the public. You’ll need to name your world, up to 16 characters, no spaces or special symbols. You can also add a password if you want to keep things private. There is an option to enable friendly fire for a PvP among friends.
If someone else is hosting, joining their world is just as easy. Head over to the “Play” tab, select “Public,” and search for the server name. Even solo-created worlds can be opened up to the public later, so there’s flexibility in how you want to play. While the name of the world stays the same, you can tweak everything else, whether to allow friendly fire or require a password.
Currently, you can team up with up to four players per server, though future updates might increase that limit. Once you’re in, look for your teammates; they’ll show up with blue arrows on your map. Then it’s game on: gather resources, build your base, fight enemies, and use the in-game chat to coordinate.
