In Schedule 1, players step into the world of illegal drug manufacturing, starting with the process of making cocaine. This guide will walk you through every step, from acquiring ingredients and setting up your lab to refining the product and distributing it to buyers, all while managing your criminal empire.
Unlocking Cocaine Production in Schedule 1
The process of brewing cocaine begins with unlocking the Docks region, the fourth area to unlock in the game. To start this quest, you must first make Meth. After unlocking the Docks, you’ll gain access to a new supplier, Salvador Moreno. He is the third and last available supplier; however, before you are able to buy from him, you must first gain friendly status with Mac Cooper and/or Javier Perez by always fulfilling their requests and sending them orders.
Salvador Moreno and Coca Seeds
Salvador provides a crucial item: Coca seed, which costs $80 each. These seeds grow into Coca plants, but be prepared for a long growing period. To speed up the process, use pots and lighting that boost the base growth rate. Once fully grown, a Coca plant yields six leaves, and you’ll need 20 leaves to prepare the cocaine.
Preparing Cocaine in Schedule 1
To make cocaine, you’ll need more than just Coca leaves. Here’s what else you’ll need:
- Gasoline: Purchase it from Oscar at the Warehouse. He also sells guns and employees for your empire.
- Cauldron: Available for purchase at Oscar’s as well.
- Lab Oven: Also obtainable from Oscar.
Once you’ve gathered all the ingredients, including 20 Coca leaves, you can begin the process of making cocaine.
How to Prepare Cocaine in Schedule 1
- Step 1: Add 20 Coca leaves and a jar of Gasoline into the Cauldron. You can either do this yourself or assign it to your Chemist. The preparation will take 6 real-life minutes, resulting in raw cocaine.
- Step 2: Place the raw cocaine in the Lab Oven. Cooking time: 6 real-life minutes.
- Step 3: After the oven process is complete, use a hammer to break the raw product into cocaine bits.
- Step 4: Pack the cocaine bits into sachets or jars to prepare them for sale.
Tip: Cocaine has the highest base selling price among all products. You can further increase its value by using a Drying Rack.
