Far Fields is an area in Hollow Knight: Silksong that’s found to the east of Deep Docks. It’s also east of Hunter’s March, but you can’t reach it directly from there. In this guide, we will explain how to get the Drifter’s Cloak and all the different ways you can leave or move forward from Far Fields.
How to Leave Far Fields (Fix Stuck in Far Fields)
Far Fields is an area in Hollow Knight: Silksong located east of Deep Docks. It also sits east of Hunter’s March, but there’s no direct path connecting the two. The only connected region is Greymoor, which you can reach by going north from Far Fields.
Many players get stuck in Far Fields because they miss an important quest, Flexile Spines. This quest gives you a key ability called the Drifter’s Cloak, which lets you glide on wind currents. Without it, you will just keep looping through the same paths with no way out. So if you’re stuck, your first goal is to complete this quest.
The Drifter’s Cloak

Head to the southern part of Far Fields and look for a floating balloon. You will find a character called the Seamstress inside. Talk to her to start the Flexile Spines quest. Once completed, you will earn the Drifter’s Cloak, which allows you to ride wind currents and reach new areas.
Three Ways to Leave Far Fields
After getting the Drifter’s Cloak, you have three ways to exit. The first way is that you can go back to Deep Docks. Or you can use the Bell Beast Bellway. The third way is you can float up to Greymoor.

To reach the Bell Beast Bellway, stay on the lowest path of Far Fields. You will eventually run into a boss called the Fourth Chorus. Beat it, then continue left to find a wind current. Ride the wind up, break another exploding rock, and keep floating until you find the Bellway. Once it’s activated, you can fast-travel to other places you have unlocked.
