    One of the coolest secrets in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is that you don’t actually have to fight The End. If you know where to look, you can take him out long before the fight even begins. This trick not only skips one of the toughest boss encounters in the game, but also changes what happens later in the story. Here’s how you can find the sniper rifle you need and kill The End early.

    How to Kill The End Early in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

    If you’re sharp-eyed, you can snipe The End before the boss fight even starts. In Ponizovje Warehouse: Exterior, when he first appears in his wheelchair, use the SVTD sniper rifle from Ponizovje West to shoot him. Get a couple of headshots in before the guards wheel him away and watch out, because his wheelchair explodes.

    If you succeed, Snake won’t fight The End at all later. Instead, you’ll battle Ocelot’s special forces in Sokrovenno. Before you take the shot, it’s smart to call Para-Medic and make a manual save. That way, if you miss or things don’t go your way, you can reload and try again.

    Sniper Location in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

    After you take down The Pain and move into the river area guarded by soldiers on hovercrafts, you’ll come to a split in the path. If you go right, you’ll end up at the Ponizovje Warehouse Docks, but if you go left, you’ll reach Ponizovje West.

    Head left first in Ponizovje West there’s a storage room full of supplies, and more importantly, the SVD sniper rifle. Grab it before moving on to the docks. With the SVD in hand, you’ll have the perfect chance to snipe The End early.
