How to Help the Stranded ON Peacekeepers in Hell is Us

In “Hell Is Us,” assisting the Stranded ON Peacekeepers is an important side mission that demands exploratory creativity and punctual decision making. The two Peacekeepers, trapped in the Acasa Marshes, can be rescued with Metformin and a Satellite Radio. Not only would completing this mission in a timely manner in Act 2 save the soldiers but it will also unlock additional interactive elements, including a Lymbic Door and an Enlightenment Mystery sconce.

Finding the Stranded ON Peacekeepers

The Acasa Marshes are home to the ON Peacekeepers and they are situated around its southern border. Leaving from Jova Village, take the primary road and keep an eye out for a single monolith. After spotting it, proceed to cross the swamp and descend the stairs in order to get to the two soldiers. Both Typhon and Roho Katungi are inside the chamber. Typhon Guile, on the left, requires Metformin, while Roho Katungi, on the right, needs a Satellite Radio to make a distress call.

It’s important to complete this side quest before progressing too far into the main campaign—specifically after obtaining the third Keystone in Act 2—because waiting too long will result in both soldiers being dead when you return. This area also includes a Lymbic Door and a sconce for the Enlightenment Mystery, so it’s worth exploring carefully.

Collecting the Items & Returning to the Peacemakers

Metformin is found in Talju, which becomes accessible during Act 2. The main objective here is to locate Lukhan Fran, the son of Caspan Fran. Caspan provides a Walkie-Talkie that must be delivered to his son. Later, you receive the Parking Lot Key, which allows you to defeat a Hollow creature.

After returning to Caspan following this encounter, he and the other survivors leave in the ON truck. Once the truck departs, the Pharmacy becomes accessible, letting you collect the Metformin. Completing the Good Deed “Light in the Dark” before rescuing Lukhan Fran is recommended, as it ensures the highest number of survivors can be saved.

The Satellite Radio is located in the Lethe Ministry of Cultural Primacy. It can be found on the top floor, close to Marston Ral’s office and other NPCs in the area. Thorough exploration of the upper rooms is necessary to locate it.

Once you have both items, head back to the monolith to trade them to the soldiers. Giving Typhon Guile and Roho Katungi what they need completes the objectives of the side quest.
