Yaksha Rush is one of the Mystic Skills in Where Winds Meet. It lets you close the distance quickly, smash through enemy defences, and deal damage in a short time. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock Yaksha Rush, what you need to do to earn it, and how to defeat Miaoshan to get the Yaksha Rush.
How to get Yaksha Rush

Yaksha Rush is great for PvP fights and helps you move quickly while breaking through enemy defences. You can unlock Yaksha Rush after finishing the Final Jianghu Legacy. You will earn this Mystic Skill by defeating Miaoshan in the quest “The Promised Light.” This quest becomes available once you collect 6,000 Qinghe Exploration Points and talk to the Wayfarer in Sundara Land. You will also need to finish two main story quests: Palace of Annals and Bodhi Sea.
These two quests give you the two halves of the Light Jade, which you will use to solve a puzzle. Once all requirements are done, just track the mission from your Journal. As for the skill itself, Yaksha Rush is a strong single-target offensive skill that costs 15 Vitality and has a 2-second cooldown. It’s great for breaking enemy defences and dealing heavy damage.
How to Defeat Miaoshan
The fight is split into three main phases, and each one changes how you need to play.
In the first phase, the boss keeps its distance and attacks you with energy blasts and heavy staff slams. The best way to deal with this is to stay aggressive from range. Use Meridian Touch whenever you see a wave blast charging up to interrupt it, and keep hitting the boss with your ranged weapons so it doesn’t get a chance to control the fight.
In the second phase, the boss switches to a fast, monk-style close combat approach and starts using ethereal form attacks. Don’t rush in blindly here. Wait for the big sweeping kicks, dodge them, and then counterattack while the boss is open. When it jumps into the air or starts flying upward, aerial attacks work really well to keep the pressure on.
The final phase is the most dangerous. The boss turns invisible and begins teleporting around the arena, striking when you least expect it. At this point, timing your parries becomes crucial. Stay calm, watch for sudden appearances, and block or parry at the right moment to survive the surprise attacks and finish the fight.
