How to Get & Use Ember Glass in V Rising 1.1

If you’re playing V Rising 1.1 and want to upgrade your equipment, Ember Glass is something you’ll be eager to get. It’s a unique material that is used in combining weapons and jewels to make them even more powerful. In this guide, we’ll take you through how to obtain Ember Glass, what it’s for, and how to build the Fusion Forge that allows you to merge your best items.

How to Get Ember Glass in V Rising 1.1

Ember Glass is a unique crafting material in V Rising, specifically for fusing crystals and metal.

It requires the following to craft 1 Ember Glass:

  • 8 Venom Sap
  • 20 Emery

It takes around 90 seconds to craft (or approximately 26 seconds when upgraded). It requires an Advanced Furnace to craft it, and it’s unlockable after defeating Dantos the Forgebinder.

How to Use Ember Glass in V Rising 1.1

Ember Glass in V Rising 1.1 isn’t just a crafting item it is used in fusing high-damage gear.

After you’ve collected a sufficient amount of Ember Glass, you can spend 12 pieces (or only 9 with some upgrades) at the Fusion Forge. This allows you to combine two compatible Ancestral Weapons or Jewels, packing their attributes into one even more powerful item. It’s an excellent means of personalizing and improving your equipment.

How to Build the Fusion Forge

To begin fusing, you’ll need to construct a Fusion Forge first. Here’s what you’ll require:

  • 1 Primal Blood Essence
  • 12 Ember Glass
  • 16 Dark Silver Ingots

Once the forge is constructed, go there with your Ancestral items and Ember Glass, and begin fusing to upgrade your weapons or jewels.

The Fusion Forge has two slots where you can put two Ancestral Weapons (reforged or shattered) or two Jewels with the same ability. When you fuse them, their attributes and bonuses are merged into one large list. From there, you’ll need to choose which bonuses to keep and which to drop, depending on how many your main item can hold. This is based on the tier of the primary item you’re using. It’s basically a way to mix and match the best traits from two items into one more powerful version. You can unlock the Fusion Forge by defeating Dantos the Forgebinder
