The Treasury Flooring is an upgrade that gives you access to room-based storage from any place in your castle while crafting or building. To get it, you’ll need to defeat a powerful boss named Nicholaus the Fallen found in the Forgotten Cemetery. We will guide you through everything here, from opening the Treasury to finding, fighting, and defeating Nicholaus.
How to Get Treasury
Treasury Flooring is a unique castle flooring in V Rising that enables a special bonus when applied to an entire room. After you’ve fully covered the floor of a room with this flooring, it triggers the Treasury Room bonus. The bonus makes any storage buildings within the room accessible from anywhere in your castle while you are crafting or constructing, making it easier to manage resources.
You can unlock the design for Treasury Flooring by defeating Nicholaus the Fallen. There are four appearance patterns for this flooring, but they’re cosmetic only; there’s no gameplay difference between them, and they are only available Eternal Dominance DLC. You will need 4 Stone Brick and 2 Gem Dust to build it.
Where to Find Nicholaus the Fallen
Nicholaus the Fallen is a Level 47 V Blood Boss found in the Forgotten Cemetery in the center of Farbane Woods. To locate him, go inside the cemetery and turn left, going up to the top. Along the way, you’ll need to fight through waves of enemies, all of level 34 to 46.
How to Beat Nicholaus the Fallen
Before challenging Nicholaus, it’s smart to clear out nearby enemies. Nicholaus uses a variety of attacks. His basic spell sends a single unholy missile at you, and he can teleport, dealing damage when he reappears. He also has two spoken spells that signal powerful abilities.
When he says, “Your bones will be mine!” he releases three waves of unholy projectiles. When he yells, “Let’s test that meat suit of yours!”. He calls in 10 to 15 skeletons to assist him. Use movement skills such as Veil of Chaos to avoid his spells and blows, and spells such as Aftershock and Chaos Volley to harm and manage crowds.
Recommended Gear and Rewards for Victory
In order to beat Nicholaus efficiently, ensure that your gear level is a minimum of 45. Merciless Copper weapons and Merciless Nightstalker armor are highly advisable. A sword is very effective due to skills such as Shockwave for crowd control and Whirlwind for up-close damage if Nicholaus teleports close by.
If the battle seems too tough, it’s worth taking out Quincey the Bandit King as a priority. His defeat will give you access to the Smithy and Tailoring Bench, which will grant you Iron weapons and Hollowfang Battlegear, increasing your power level.
