How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 2 and 4 (Hebeth & Sentinel Barracks) – DOOM: The Dark Ages

In DOOM: The Dark Ages, you can find special gold chests hidden throughout the game. These chests give you gold, which are useful for upgrades and gear. Some chapters don’t have any gold chests, while others have one or more, hidden in secret spots. This guide will help you find all the gold chests in Chapters 1 to 4. 

How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 2: Hebeth

Chapter 2: Hebeth has 2 Gold chest. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect Gold chests in any order you like.

1. Gold Chest

You can find 75 gold from multiple pickups after the battle with the Hell Knights and moving on to the next sector. Several more are on the floor behind and beneath the Sentinel Shrine, and 50 are in a gold chest.

Just to the right of the second Sentinel Shrine is a hole in the wall; proceed all the way to the end of the walkway to uncover the secret area and a Gold chest that holds 50 gold.

How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 4: Sentinel Barracks

Chapter 4: Sentinel Barracks has 2 Gold chest. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect Gold chests in any order you like.

1. Gold Chest

You can jump up and find five gold bars to your left here by throwing your shield at the green statue on the left. The secret location with three gold chests can then be found by dropping to the left of the gold, charging into the giant container, and climbing atop to find the gold chest.

2. Gold Chest

After crossing the broken bridge by jumping towards it, move up the stairs on the right to a room that has a Gold chest with 50 gold in it.
