In DOOM: The Dark Ages, you can find special gold chests hidden throughout the game. These chests give you gold, which are useful for upgrades and gear. Some chapters don’t have any gold chests, while others have one or more, hidden in secret spots. This guide will help you find all the gold chests in Chapters 17 to 19.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 17: Temple of Lomarith
Chapter 12: Temple of Lomarith has 1 Gold chest. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect the Gold chest whenever you like.

Find the eye symbol and line yourself up with it. Throw your shield through the eye to open a gate. Inside, there’s a Gold chest with gold bars.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 18: Belly of the Beast
Chapter 18: Belly of the Beast has 1 Gold chest. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect the Gold chest whenever you like.

Once you have defeated all the enemies, interact with the organ to move the story forward. Then, just turn left and you’ll spot a Gold chest containing 50 Gold.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 19: Harbor of Souls
Chapter 19: Harbor of Souls has 1 Gold chest. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect the Gold chest whenever you like.

Look up to find a green statue. Climb the wall near it and you’ll reach a hidden area with a gold chest.
