In DOOM: The Dark Ages, you can find special gold chests hidden throughout the game. These chests give you gold, which are useful for upgrades and gear. Some chapters don’t have any gold chests, while others have one or more, hidden in secret spots. This guide will help you find all the gold chests in Chapters 14 and 15.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 14: Spire of Nerathul
Chapter 14: Spire of Nerathul has 3 Gold chests. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect Gold chests in any order you like.
1. Gold Chest

Move down the hill on the island’s left side. You will get the Gold chest containing 50 Gold by moving down onto a ledge.

There is a jump pad on your right as you move down the ramp and cross the bridge. You can see the jump pad behind a wall to your right, which has an explosive barrel. To find a Gold chest, shoot the explosive barrel to destroy the wall, then move down and enter inside to find a Gold chest containing 50 Gold.
3. Gold Chest

Throw your shield at the little orange section of the chain to bring the object down to you. Get 50 Gold by smashing the chest there.
How to Get to Gold Chest in Chapter 15: City of Ry’uul
Chapter 15: City of Ry’uul has 1 Gold chest. Since the level is open-world, you can go to collect the Gold chest whenever you like.
1. Gold Chest
To get to a Gold chest, climb the stairs and grapple over to the green body to reach the secret area and the gold chest.
