Ghost of Yōtei contains 13 armor sets in total, and they all equip Atsu with two or three passive skills that support some playstyles. While three of them are given by the main story by default, the remaining ten need to be unlocked via side stories, bounties, or purchased DLC.
Each armor set in Ghost of Yōtei encourages a particular style of fighting and exploration. There are some that are suitable for stealth and finesse and others for toughness and brute force in direct combat. All non-DLC armor sets can be acquired and will earn the player the “For All Occasions” Trophy.
Snake Skin Armor Overview
The Snake Skin Armor is perhaps the most iconic costume in Ghost of Yōtei, featuring a complex serpent-scale design that bestows Atsu with a slender, menacing look. That said, as opposed to the vast majority of other armor sets in the game, the Snake Skin Armor can only be obtained by owners of the Deluxe Edition.

How to Get the Snake Skin Armor in Ghost of Yōtei
To obtain the Snake Skin Armor, you’ll need to have purchased the Deluxe Edition of Ghost of Yōtei. Upon starting the game or loading your save, the armor will automatically appear in Atsu’s inventory.
You can put it in at any point in the Gear → Armor menu. The visual of the armor is a dark, scaly appearance such as snake skin — a fitting appearance for players who wish to appear sneaky or mysterious, though mechanically it lacks sneak benefits.
In contrast to other sets, Snake Skin Armor cannot be altered by the armorer and will not evolve with in-game progression. It is an entirely cosmetic reward that exists solely to make Deluxe Edition fit into its theme.
