How to Get the Long Jump Pack in Abiotic Factor

The Long Jump Pack is one of the most useful gear items you can get in Abiotic Factor, especially if you want to explore faster and reach tricky places with ease. It doesn’t just let you carry more items; it also gives you the ability to jump much farther than usual, making it great for dodging danger or skipping over obstacles. In this guide, we’ll explain what the Long Jump Pack does, how it works, and how you can craft it for yourself.

Long Jump Pack in Abiotic Factor

The Long Jump Pack is a special gear item in Abiotic Factor that gives you a big boost in mobility. It works like a backpack (with 30 inventory slots), but its main feature is letting you launch yourself forward while in the air. Basically, you can jump farther and faster than with the regular jetpack.

To use it, press the jump key again while you’re already in the air. Each extra jump uses up some energy and builds up heat, shown in a red bar. If that heat bar fills up, the pack overheats and won’t work again until you land and give it time to cool down.

When you first enter a Portal World, the Long Jump Pack won’t work right away; it needs to calibrate to the new environment. You’ll need to complete the Portal World once before the pack becomes usable there.

There’s also a neat trick: if you’ve got the Dangling Gravity Cube and time your jumps just right (tapping the jump button rhythmically), you can stretch your flight time way beyond normal limits until the battery runs out, that is.

Overall, the Long Jump Pack changes how you move through the game. It lets you skip certain obstacles and almost completely removes the risk of fall damage. Once you have it, getting around becomes a whole lot easier and a lot more fun.

How to Get the Long Jump Pack

To get your hands on the Long Jump Pack in Abiotic Factor, you’ll need to craft it yourself. First, make sure you’ve got a crafting bench set. This is essential. Once that’s ready, you’ll need to gather a few specific materials: two Power Cells, four Coil Windlings, one Air Compressor, and four Transformer Bushings. After you’ve collected everything, head over to the crafting bench and put it all together to build your Long Jump Pack.
