If you are looking to unlock the Hamster Wheel achievement in Revenge of the Savage Planet, you will need to spend some time exploring and customizing your in-game Habitat. In this guide, we will walk you through how to access the Habitat, earn credits to buy decorative items, and identify which ones are interactive so you can unlock the Hamster Wheel with ease.
How to Enter the Habitat
Travel to the marked location to reach the Habitat. To get the Hamster Wheel Achievement, head over to the big Habitat building. Press Square (or X) to activate it. After a short cutscene, go inside and approach the console, hold Square (X) again to play the video message.
Next, head to the computer and click through each of the icons on the desktop. Under “Kindred Trainings,” you will find your first quiz to earn Habitat credits called Alta Bucks. These are for decorating your bedroom with cool items. Some of these decorations are tied to achievements.
Choose “Home DKO” on the computer to buy and place decorations in your Habitat. While exploring outside, look for noisy, flashing Alto Coupon crates with a red light on top; opening these gives you a huge credit boost.
How to Get the Hamster Wheel Achievement
To unlock the Hamster Wheel achievement, you will need to place three interactive items in your Habitat room. Not every item can be interacted with, but many can, and the easiest (and cheapest) ones are the High Five Machine, Hug Machine, and Hover Bike. You can find all three in the Large Appliance section.
Just enter build mode, place those items in your room, then go live again. Walk up to each one and press Square (X) to interact. Once you have used all three, the Hamster Wheel achievement will pop.
Before you finish up, make sure to click through everything on the Habitat desktop and accept the Termination Agreement to get the You’re Fired! achievement. Then, simply head out the front door to wrap up the mission.
