Celestial Seize is one of the most useful Mystic Arts you can unlock in Where Winds Meet. It lets you pull objects from far away and even grab weapons right out of an enemy’s hands, making both exploration and combat a lot easier. To get this ability, you will need to complete the Foul Play side quest in Heaven’s Pier. This guide will tell you where to find the Celestial Seize and how to use it.
How to Get Celestial Seize

If you want to earn the Celestial Seize Mystic Art, start the Foul Play quest and head over to Heaven’s Pier in the Qinghe region. Inside Haven’s Spear, you will find different side quests by talking to people. The one you need is Foul Play. Mark it on your map and head to the location. When you arrive, you will see a group of people taking part in a drinking contest. Nearby, there’s a man you can talk to who will start the quest.
Obtain the Nullifying Pill
During Foul Play, you will discover that the contest host is cheating. You must steal his potion (Nullifying Pill) using the Celestial Seize ability. When the game prompts you, press the required buttons (R2 + Square on PlayStation). After you steal the potion, continue with the quest.
Then, speak to the contest host again. Now that he doesn’t have his cheating potion, you can challenge him fairly. Start the drinking contest, watch the cutscene, and finish the event. Once it’s over, talk to the character again. This will permanently unlock the Celestial Seize ability. You can equip it anytime by opening your abilities menu.
How to Use Celestial Seize

Celestial Seize is one of those Mystic Arts that’s handy both in and out of battle. When you’re just exploring, you can use it to pull things toward you from far away, even items hidden inside chests or hidden in backpacks. It basically saves you the trouble of climbing or running around to grab things. In combat, it becomes even more useful.
You can snatch an enemy’s weapon right out of their hands and then turn it against them. The heavier the weapon you grab, the harder it hits when you swing it back at them. You will find yourself using Celestial Seize in all sorts of situations: taking weapons from enemies, opening guarded or dangerous chests, solving certain puzzles, and even pickpocketing NPCs when you pair it with Windsense.
