In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Karatom gives you a quest to find Blue Mushrooms, but getting them isn’t easy. First, you need to find Karatom in Gestral Village. How To Get the Blue Mushrooms for Karatom Gestral
You need to find the Blue Mushrooms for the Karatom quest. To get the Blue Mushrooms, you need to first find Karatom, a Gestral NPC. Then unlock the Esquie’s Nest area by fighting the three Legendary Warriors.
How to Find Karatom Gestral
You can find Karatom in the Sakapatate area. To get there, start from the Gestral Village. Head to the Entrance Expedition Flag, then take a left. You will enter the Gestral Bazaar. Go straight through the bazaar, and you will come out at the Sakapatate. Karatom will be waiting for you at the base of the Sakapatate. Walk up to him and interact with him. He will ask you to find Blue Mushrooms.
How To Get the Blue Mushrooms
To get the Blue Mushroom, you will need to go to Esquie’s Nest. To unlock Esquie’s Nest you need to talk to the village chief, Golgra. After that join the Gestral Arena tournament. Here, you will fight with the three Legendary Warriors and the Stranger. To win the fight read our guide on Golgra Boss Guide. You need to win the fights and go back and talk to Golgra again. Now, he will tell you that the Eastern Gate of the village is now open.
To go to the Esquie’s Nest, exit Gestral Village and move towards the east. You will find the Esquie’s Nest. Now, a cutscene will play. To find the Blue Mushroom, follow the central path and you will reach a cave. Move forward and get past the cave.
Now, Jump right and move forward. You Will find a Mime enemy, go past it. Now take left, in the water, you will spot the Blue Mushroom. After picking it up, return to Karatom in Gestral Village and give him the mushroom.
After giving the Blue Mushroom to Karatom, you will trigger the second part of the quest – battle between Gustave and the Ultimate Sakapatate. The fight is tough, with three phases. Beat it and complete the quest to unlock rewards like the Pure Outfit for Gustave, Polished Chroma Catalysts, and a Recoat.
