You get a basic gourd at the start of the game that can be upgraded to Supreme Gourd, which has 10 healing charges and is the best Gourd in the game at the time. Gourds in Black Myth Wukong provides various benefits, the primary being healing. Once you have upgraded the Gourd to 9, you may want to take it to the max for more challenging fight in the later chapters. In this guide, we will show you how to get the Supreme Gourd in Black Myth Wukong.
Supreme Gourd Black Myth Wukong
To get the Supreme Gourd in Black Myth Wukong, you need to first upgrade the current gourd to Medicine Buddha Gourd with 9 healing charges. To upgrade the Gourd to level 9, you need to go to the Shen Monkey in chapter 3 near the Marsh of White Mist Shrine. The Shen Monkey is quite close to the Shrine. Simply turn left from the Shrine and follow the path to the bamboo bridge. On the bridge, you will come across a three-way, take right and it will lead you to the Shen Monkey.
You will need the Luojia Fragrant Vines to perform the upgrades. If you do not know where to get the item, watch the below video that shows 14 locations to get the vines.
Once you have enough Luojia Fragrant Vines, go to the Shen Monkey and upgrade the Gourd to level 9 and then proceed to securing the Supreme Gourd.
How to Get Supreme Gourd Black Myth Wukong
To get the Supreme Gourd, you need to have progressed to Chapter 5. Then, go to the Old Man NPC near the Flaming Mountains > Furnace Valley > Rakshasa Palace Shrine.
Spawn at the Shrine and then turn back, follow the path that leads the bridge ahead. Cross the bridge and you will see giant red enemy, take a left from the enemy and then there is a building on the right, go in there and you will find the Old Man. Refer to the below image to guide your path to the Old Man.
Go to the Old Man and interact with him. Go through the dialogue and take the Gourd from the NPC. Wait for the conversation to be over, then, go and interact with the fire place. That’s it, you now have the Supreme Gourd.
