If you want to unlock Sun Wukong’s True Armour Set in Black Myth: Wukong, you will need to do a bit of exploring and take on some tough bosses. This special set is hidden on Mount Huaguo after you finish Chapter Five, and each piece is earned by defeating a powerful enemy in different parts of the mountain. It’s not an easy task, but if you’re ready for the challenge, here’s a guide you need to know to get the full set.
How to Get Sun Wukong True Armour Set
After you defeat the Yaksha King and finish Chapter Five, you will make your way to Mount Huaguo. From the Verdant Path Keeper’s Shrine in the Foothills, summon your Somersault Cloud and turn around. Fly straight ahead and you will eventually come to a small landing area surrounded by trees.
In the upper part of this area, look closely and you will spot a golden chest sitting beside one of the trees. Open it, and inside you will find the Golden Feng-Tail Crown, the Gold Suozi Armour, the Dian-Cui Loong-Soaring Bracers, and the Lotus Silk Cloudtreaders.
To collect every piece of this set, you will need to take on and defeat four different bosses scattered across Mount Huaguo. These include the Gold Armoured Rhino, the Cloudtreading Deer, the Feng-Tail General, and finally the Emerald-Armed Mantis. Taking them all down is the only way to get the full set.
Gold Armoured Rhino Location
You can find the Gold Armoured Rhino near a battlefield littered with fallen bodies. To spot it more easily, climb onto the cloud and rise up to get a better view. Keep in mind, you won’t be able to hurt it much unless you break its horn first. Once you defeat it, it will drop the Gold Suozi Armour for you.
Cloudtreading Deer Location
The Cloudtreading Deer is pretty close to where you find the Gold Armoured Rhino. Just hop on your cloud and keep going up until you spot a big tree with bright red leaves. Be careful when you take it on. This enemy has some strong attacks that can end the fight really quickly if you’re not ready. Take it down, and you will be rewarded with the Lotus Silk Cloudtreaders.
Find Feng-Tail General Location
The Feng‑Tail General doesn’t stay in one spot, so you will need to spend a little time tracking it down. Once you find it, jump in and grab its antennae to bring it down. The first struggle will drain your stamina, and the next phase will test your health, so be ready. If you manage to tame it, you will get the Golden Feng‑Tail Crown as your reward.
Emerald-Armed Mantis Location
The Emerald-Armed Mantis won’t show up until you’ve already defeated the Feng-Tail General. When it does appear, you will be fighting it inside Zhu Bajie. Look for a golden tree in the middle of a water area. That’s where you will find this mantis. There’s also a Keeper’s Shrine nearby, so don’t forget to activate it before the fight. Be on your guard, because the mantis gets more aggressive the longer the battle goes on. Defeat it, and you will earn the Dian-Cui Loong-Soaring Bracers.
