If you want powerful rewards and take on difficult challenges in Nightreign, you will need Stonesword Keys to access the Evergaol sites. These keys are rare, but they are your ticket to summoning bosses that drop valuable loot and runes. In this guide, we will walk you through where to find Stonesword Keys and how you can use them to unlock Evergaol arenas.
How to Get Stonesword Key to Open Evergaol Sites
Stonesword Keys are unique goods that can be purchased from specific merchants, found in uncommon chests, or obtained after bosses have been defeated. Although these chests don’t always contain one, you might be able to obtain a Stonesword Key from them at the beginning of the first day.
On the second day, a small village will show up on your map. It’s peaceful with no enemies around, and there’s just one merchant living there. This merchant always has one Stonesword Key for sale, but just one, and it will cost you 6,000 runes. Keep in mind, the key takes up one slot in your pouch and doesn’t carry over between matches.
How to Use Stonesword Key to Open Evergaol Sites
There is an Imp Statue at each Evergaol stadium. You can use the Stonesword Key from your inventory to activate the statue and summon a boss. The boss at each Evergaol always spawns in the same spot, right in the center of the arena.
This makes it easier to plan your attack. Your team can spread out and get into position around the circle, then all jump in and hit the boss as soon as it appears. It’s a great way to deal a lot of damage quickly and take control of the fight.
By defeating this boss, you can earn around 200,000 runes, and there is also a chance they will drop passive abilities or rare weapons. Just keep in mind, you can only do this once per Evergaol. So, if your team has extra Stonesword Keys, try to find arenas you haven’t used yet.
