How to Get Redistribution Engine V Rising 1.1

If you’re looking to unlock advanced crafting and powerful spells in V Rising, then Henry Blackbrew the Doctor is a boss you will need to take down. Found deep inside the Trancendum Laboratories in Gloomrot North, Henry is a Level 74 V Blood Carrier. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find him, how to prepare, what to expect in battle, and what you’ll get for defeating him.

Henry Blackbrew the Doctor Location

You’ll find Henry Blackbrew the Doctor inside Trancendum Laboratories in Gloomrot North, which is located in the northwest corner of Vardoran. To get back there easier in case you die, make sure to activate the Gloomrot South Vampire Waygate, it’s right below the lab.

To get there quickly, use the Gloomrot North Vampire Waygate, then head west, and once you spot the lab, go south to reach it. Clear out the enemies around the outside first, and when you’re ready, go down the stairs to face Henry. Bring ranged attacks, they’ll help a lot during the fight.

How to Defeat Henry Blackbrew the Doctor

Henry is a Level 74 boss, so it’s best to be around that Gear Level 80. Since the fight happens indoors, you don’t need to worry about sunlight during the battle, just be cautious while traveling to the lab.

Preparation for the Battle

For this fight with Henry Blackbrew the Doctor, the best dash spell you can use is Veil of Chaos. It’s really helpful when Henry tries to push you into the electric fence around the room.

When it comes to attack spells, Chaos Volley is a great choice, it does solid damage to him. But one of the most important spells for this fight is Chaos Barrier. When Henry sends out his electric orbs, Chaos Barrier not only blocks the damage but also hits him back. Recasting it lets you land a couple of easy hits as well.

For your ultimate ability, pick one that suits your playstyle, but Arctic Leap is a strong option. It lets you jump straight at him if he pushes you near the edge, helping you stay out of the fence’s reach.

As for weapons, the greatsword works well here. Its secondary attack lets you leap forward, which is perfect when Henry’s knockback is pushing you back. If you combine the greatsword’s mobility with Veil of Chaos, you should be able to avoid hitting the electric fence altogether.

Defeating Henry Blackbrew the Doctor

During the fight with Henry Blackbrew the Doctor, all of his attacks apply Electric Amplify, which increases the damage you take by 5% per stack, so the longer the fight goes on, the more dangerous it gets.

  • Henry Blackbrew the Doctor fires 4 lasers in different directions around him.
  • He sends out an electric orb that chases you. Keep moving to avoid it.
  • When he yells “Try me now!”, he’s about to counter. Stop attacking and be ready to dodge.
  • Electrical beams will sweep across the room. They disappear after a while and can be avoided using a dash spell.
  • He’ll move to a corner and shoot 4 waves of 4 orbs across the room. Try to find safe spots or dash through them.
  • Once his health drops to half, a ring of electricity will appear around the edge of the room, and more wall lasers will start showing up.
  • He’ll stand in the center and send out 7 shockwaves that try to push you into the electric fence. Dash or leap toward him to stay safe.

Defeating Henry Blackbrew the Doctor, in V Rising takes a lot of patience, especially if you’re fighting him solo. He has a wide range of attacks, so learning his patterns is key to surviving and winning.

His most dangerous move is his Discharge counterattack. Every now and then, he’ll cover himself in electricity, and a “Counter” bar will appear above his head. Do not hit him during this time if you do, he’ll charge at you, deal massive damage, and leave you stunned while he lines up his next attack.

Because of this, it’s best to wait and stay defensive. The safest times to attack are right after he finishes Discharge, or when he’s channeling one of his other abilities.

  • He might float into the air and shoot X-shaped lasers, which are easy to dodge if you stay directly in front of him.
  • Or, he might throw a lightning orb at you. Use a shield or a dash spell to avoid taking damage.

During the fight, Henry will also activate the lab’s energy spheres, which create electric barriers around the room. Avoid running through them, as they’ll hurt you and apply a Static debuff.

Sometimes, he’ll link to one of these spheres and unleash a bunch of electrical orbs that float around the room. This is a great time to use your ultimate ability, since Henry stays in place while it happens.

When his health drops below 50%, the fight gets more intense. All the spheres in the lab will light up, and Henry will jump to the center, sending out a powerful knockback that tries to push you into the electric fence, which does heavy damage. Be ready to dash or leap toward him to avoid getting thrown into the edges.
