How to Get New Exotic Armour Pieces in Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate

In Destiny 2’s new update, The Edge of Fate, you can unlock powerful Exotic armour for each class: Titan, Hunter, and Warlock. To get these special armour pieces, all you need to do is finish the campaign on Legendary difficulty. Each Exotic helps make your class abilities even stronger. In this guide, we will explain how each one works and what it does.

How to get new Exotic armour pieces

To earn your new Exotic armour, you will need to complete a series of 14 story missions. These missions are: The Invitation, Fallow, Nostos, Commencement, Saturnism, Transient, Gouge, Morphology, Charge, Disruption, Calculus, Quarantine, Criticality, and The Message. Once you finish all the missions on Legendary difficulty, you will receive an Exotic armour piece based on the character class you played, Titan, Hunter, or Warlock.

    Melas Panoplia

Melas Panoplia is an Exotic armour piece made just for Titans. You get it for free after beating the Edge of Fate campaign on Legendary difficulty. These gauntlets are basically your ticket to feeling like Thor. You can throw your hammer, call it back, and deal heavy damage, with tons of fire effects and explosions to go with it.

It is of Titan class and Gauntlets Armour Type. When you collect a Firesprite or land a bunch of quick Solar kills, you become a Forge Master. This gives you the power to pull your Throwing Hammer back to you. If you hit an enemy and then recall the hammer at full power, you trigger what’s called a Perfect Recall; it creates a fiery explosion of forge slag. Doing Perfect Recalls and picking up Fire Spirits helps you stay in the Forge Master state longer.

    Moirai

Moirai is the Exotic Chest Armour made for the Hunter class. You can unlock it by completing The Edge of Fate campaign on Legendary difficulty. Once you get it, your Strand build becomes even stronger. Moirai lets your Threaded Spike interact with Tangles in powerful ways, helping you cause big explosions and quickly recharge your melee energy.

It is of Hunter class and chest armour Type. With Webcatcher, your Threaded Spike gets a cool upgrade. It can now bounce off Tangles, make them explode, and then come right back to you. When it blows up a Tangle, it actually picks it up and reuses it. And if there’s no Tangle around, your Spike still gives you extra melee energy when it hits.

    Eunoia

Eunoia is a set of Exotic Gauntlets made just for Warlocks. You can get your first set after beating The Edge of Fate campaign on Legendary difficulty. These gauntlets boost your Solar build by powering up the Hellion ability, a solar mortar that shoots flaming projectiles. Thanks to Eunoia, those fireballs hit harder over distance, turning your ability into a deadly long-range turret.

It is in the Warlock class and Gauntlets Armour Type. With Consul’s Pitch, your Hellion projectiles become more powerful the farther they fly. The longer they stay in the air, the more damage they do, and when they land, they burst into scorching shrapnel that burns everything nearby.
