How to Get Mushrooms in ARC Raiders

Mushrooms are one of the more difficult resources to find in ARC Raiders, but they become critical once you begin upgrading Scrappy. In contrast to the common scraps encountered while running, mushrooms spawn far less frequently, making them somewhat of a grind to collect. If you are having difficulty finding them, here is an easy-to-follow guide on where to find and gather them effectively.

What Makes Mushrooms Tricky to Find in ARC Raiders?

At first glance, mushrooms may seem like a basic resource, but they are actually not that common in ARC Raiders. As you level up and start upgrading Scrappy, you will soon realize their need, which means you will have to start the hunt soon.

These are not the usual crafting scraps. Mushrooms fall into the Nature category and are regarded as an uncommon healing item, therefore, mushrooms don’t spawn as often as the usual junk you pick up on runs.

    Finding Mushrooms in ARC Raiders

The most consistent location for mushroom collection is the Hydroponic Dome Complex in the Dam Battlegrounds. This area is thick and green, making it a suitable habitat for gathering natural resources.

To start the collection of mushrooms, you can begin by searching along the trees outside the Dome. Mushrooms frequently cling to them, but because of the dense vegetation, it may go unnoticed. What you can do is head inside the complex and check the ground areas, particularly those which are in close proximity to water, as mushrooms tend to grow near moisture.

Do not hurry through this area. You will want to take a lap or two at a slow pace because the spawns are not guaranteed every time. If you stick around and search the area perfectly, you should walk away with a good amount.

Note: Mushrooms grow around trees and damp natural coverage, this is why the Dome and nearby rivers are a safe bet. You will typically find a few growing in smaller planters throughout the facility, too. Do remember that The Dam Battlegrounds covers a decent size stretch of forest/woodlands, so you will be wandering a bit.

    Backup Spots

If you don’t have any luck with the Dome run, don’t forget about the Swampy river edges, the Water Treatment Control, or the Wreckage within the Dam Battlegrounds, which also spawn mushrooms, just not as often. It is still a good option if you’re close by.
