In Of Ash and Steel, exploring the world becomes easier after you unlock the map tools. These tools allow you to draw maps and unlock different areas of the world. To find it, you need to join the Order of the Seven and meet Irwin. In this guide, we will show you how to get your map tools in Of Ash and Steel.
How to Get Map Tools
Head to the harbour and enter the Order’s headquarters after bringing back the knights. After talking to Gbriel, talk to the leader of the Order to become a knight of the Order of the Seven. This will complete Act 1. Your first mission is to recover the stolen letter. Go to Irwin to get the letter. To find Irwin, read our guide on Irwin Location.
Talk to Irwin and ask for help. Follow him to the area where you were attacked during the prologue. You need to go down the hill, towards the beach. Go left and inspect the shore area.
Here, you’ll find your cartographer tool, which will let you draw the maps and unlock them. After that, enter the nearby cave and find a Husk enemy. Defeat it and return to Irwin. He’ll ask you to follow him to a dead body.
