Lingonberry Leather is a rare and essential crafting material in Grounded 2, used for important gear upgrades like the Omnitool. This quick guide explains where to find Lingonberries, how to harvest them safely, and the most efficient ways to turn them into leather. Whether you’re exploring or upgrading, knowing how to get Lingonberry Leather is key to progressing.
How to Get Lingonberry Leather
Lingonberry Leather is a valuable crafting item in Grounded 2, but don’t expect it to come easy. This leather becomes especially important for a key Omni tool upgrade later in the game. But before you can make it, you’ll first need to collect Lingonberry Chunks. These aren’t just lying around—you’ll have to harvest them from berries hanging on bushes in a spider-infested part of the map, and you’ll need a stronger tool to do the job.
Where to Find Lingonberries
To track them down, head to the northwest area of the park. There, hidden beneath thick foliage and tangled branches, you’ll find Lingonberry bushes. If you’re exploring clockwise from the first lab, this area shows up just before you loop back near your base. Look up—some berries might be too high to reach by hand, so bring a bow to shoot them down if needed. Once they drop, you can use your Omnitool to collect the chunks.
Crafting Lingonberry Leather

You can then use three chunks to craft one piece of Lingonberry Leather directly. But if you want to make the most of what you have, build a drying rack, this lets you convert each chunk into leather at a one-to-one ratio. It takes more time, but saves resources in the long run.
Note: While you’re at it, make sure you’ve unlocked the silk rope recipe and built a spinning wheel. These upgrades will come in handy for crafting more advanced gear as you continue to level up your character.
