How to Get Dragon Keys in Where Winds Meet

Dragon Keys are important items in Where Winds Meet because you need them to unlock new weapons and skills. You might run out of them as you play, but they’re actually pretty easy to get once you know where to look. This guide will quickly show you the best ways to find more Dragon Keys so you can keep upgrading and exploring without getting stuck.

How to Get Dragon Keys

The Dragon Key is a special quest item in Where Winds Meet. You will usually need items like this to move forward in the main story or certain side quests. You can get them by exploring or talking to the right NPCs. Once you have the Dragon Key, it’s used to open blocked areas or help you complete specific objectives. You will need Dragon Keys to unlock new weapons and learn more skills, and it’s pretty easy to run out of them. Luckily, getting more doesn’t take long, and you can be back to unlocking weapons quickly.

There are three main ways to get Dragon Keys. The first one is simple; you receive a key when you reach Level 2, so you should already have a few to start with. The second way is by completing a quest called Skill Theft, but that one only gives a key once. After you’ve used those up, your next method is clearing outposts on the map. Just keep in mind that not every outpost gives a Dragon Key, so always check the rewards before starting one.

Outposts are shown with red icons in each region. When you click on one, scroll down to the rewards section. If it doesn’t list a Dragon Key, skip it for now. If it does, make sure it says it’s still available for your first clear, because that reward is only given once. After you finish the outpost, you will get journey rewards and exploration XP.
