How to Get the Recipe (Location)
You can find the recipe for the Draconic Staff, Vestige: Parts of a Sinister Looking Staff, inside a chest located along the western wall, just outside the Dragonkin Vault in Ashien’s Watch.

How to Get the Required Materials for the Recipe
Smithing Anvil
The Smithing Anvil is a crafting station found in Runescape Dragonwilds. To create it, you’ll need the following materials:
- 6 Bronze Bars
- 20 Ash Logs
- 8 Thread made from Coarse Animal Fur
- 1 Vault Core
Iron Ore
Iron Ore is obtained by mining Iron Deposits found in Stormtouched Highlands and three pieces of Iron Ore can be smelted in a Furnace to create one Iron Bar.
Granite
Granite is a heavy stone commonly used in building and crafting. Granite Deposits are most frequently found throughout the Stormtouched Highlands, a region located in the northwest part of the map, past the Whispering Swamp and to the west of the Fractured Plains.
This area is rated as power level three and is inhabited by powerful Garou enemies wielding a variety of deadly weapons. Additionally, the region experiences frequent dragon spawns and random lightning strikes, which can harm you if you’re caught in them.
To find Granite Deposits, focus on the bases of large cliffs and mountains. You’ll often spot them near rock formations, typically in pairs, and sometimes alongside Iron Ore.
Jade
Jade is an unusual jewel used for the crafting of magical jewelry. To find Jade in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you will have to mine Iron Ores in Stormtouched Highlands. Head to the northwestern section of the area, where Iron Ore Nodes are scattered across the mountains and corners. Be sure to cast the Rocksplosion Spell on each node you mine—this increases your chances of finding Jade.
Keep in mind, Stormtouched Highlands is more dangerous than other regions. It’s home to level four enemies that can inflict heavy damage. To survive, equip at least level three armor and a solid weapon before venturing in.
Vault Shards
Vault Shards are mystical stones infused with traces of dragonkin magic, found exclusively within Dragonkin Vaults. These items are used in crafting various gear and can be acquired by defeating the following enemies inside the vaults:
- Vault Guardian Sentinel
- Vault Guardian Hulk
- Vault Archon
