How to Get Diamond Exoskeleton Early in Stalker 2 (Quick and Easy)

The Diamond Exoskeleton is the best suit in the game and provides many of the best stats. If we do not consider the best carrying capacity of the Ruby Exoskeleton, the Diamond is far superior to other exoskeletons and is meant for end-game gameplay. Two main ways to get the Exosuit are via the mission “The Boundary” and by reaching a stash in Prypat.

However, another way gives you access to this incredible exoskeleton much earlier in the game than originally intended. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to go about obtaining the Diamond Exoskeleton in Stalker 2.

How to Get Diamond Exoskeleton Early in Stalker 2

As mentioned, there are two ways to get the Diamond Exoskeleton in Stalker 2. The suit can be found at only two locations in the game. However, you can reach one of the locations much earlier.

    1. Sunny Kindergarten – Prypiat Region
    2. Eco Bunker – Yanev Station

Going to the Sunny Kindergarten in the Prypiat Region requires you to progress further in the game. However, you gain access to the Eco Bunker quite early. Accessing the bunker is part of the “The Boundary” main mission; however, you can get the Diamond Exoskeleton on the roof of the Eco Bunker even when the missing is inactive. Here is how to go about getting the suit.

    Accessing the Eco Bunker

When the Boundary mission is active, the Eco Bunker has a lot of hostiles to deal with, but without the mission active, you are free to explore and be creative. You aim to reach the bunker’s roof, but there is no way to get to the top.

    • Go to the Eco Bunker, west of the Yaniv Station and North of the Red Forest.
    • Near the bunker, about 150 meters up north, there is a train depot. Inside one of the train cars, you will find a wooden box.
    • You need to push this wooden box back to the base. Simply walk into the box, and it will inch forward.

Note: The train cars and the area around them have high radiation. So, bring enough radiation protection, and if things get out of hand, you can always run back to the Yanev settlement.

    • Once you return the box to the Eco Bunker, place it as shown above and attempt to climb the ledge.
    • Next, jump to the roof of the bunker’s entrance and then on to the top.
    • Once you get to the top, you pretty much have the suit.
    • Search the roof, and you will get the Diamond Exoskeleton and a loot stash.

After you have equipped the suit, you will notice that you can no longer sprint with the suit on. This is not a bug. The suits requires a sprint upgrade for you to sprint with it. In the Yantar region, you can go to the Trailer Dump, where you can upgrade the suit and get the sprint on.

Additionally, if you have the coupons, you can also go to Yanev Station, which is less than a 100 meters from the Eco Bunker and get the Sprint Upgrade. At the Yanev Station, go to the Harpy technician, and she will provide the upgrade.
