How to Get Choir of One in Destiny 2 and It’s God Roll

Choir of One is a new Exotic Auto Rifle in Destiny 2 that hits really hard. It’s special because it uses Special ammo, not regular bullets, making it much stronger. When you aim, it fires slower but is good for hitting enemies from far away. But the real power comes when you fire from the hip, it shoots a bunch of explosive shots that can wipe out groups of enemies and even hurt bosses. If you choose the right perks, this gun can be super useful in both PvE and PvP.

Choir of One in Destiny 2

Choir of One hits incredibly hard with its Wyvern shot, especially up close. This weapon is unique because it’s the first Special ammo Auto Rifle in the game. It fits into the same category as Rocket Sidearms and Wave-Frame Grenade Launchers, all great options for clearing groups of enemies.

When you ADS, it acts like a slower Auto Rifle, not super exciting, but great for picking off weaker enemies while saving ammo. The real power, though, is in the hip-fire Wyvern mode. This mode has a great burst that can kill tougher enemies and even dish out decent boss damage.

How to Get Choir of One

If you want to get the Choir of One Exotic weapon, you will need to complete the secret Encore mission available if you own Episode 1: Echoes.

Choir of One has three special upgrades called Catalysts: Destabilising Rounds Refit, Onslaught Refit, and Subsistence Refit. You can earn them by running the Expert version of the Encore mission. Once you unlock a Catalyst, head to the Enclave on Mars to craft it. You will also need to get a few hundred kills with the weapon to fully activate it. For that, farming spots like Shuro Chi or the start of Grasp of Avarice can help you finish faster.

When you craft the Choir of One Exotic Auto Rifle, you get to choose from a bunch of traits to suit your playstyle. Here’s what you can pick from. Barrels include options like Fluted Barrel, Arrowhead Brake, and Hammer-Forged Rifling.

Magazines you can choose include Flared Magwell, Light Mag, or Accurized Rounds. Stocks include Composite Stock, Short-Action Stock, and more. For Catalysts, you can choose Subsistence Refit, Onslaught Refit, or Destabilizing Rounds Refit.

Choir of One Perks

Choir of One comes with two standout Exotic perks:

  • Command Frame: When you aim down sights (ADS), it fires slower but more powerful shots that hit harder if you land precision hits.
  • Fanatical Lance: Getting quick kills causes enemies to explode into a pool of radiolarian fluid. If you hip-fire, it shoots multiple slower projectiles in a spread, and each one explodes on impact.

Best Choir of One God Roll for PvE

For PvE, this is an all-around solid setup:

  • Barrel: Fluted Barrel
  • Magazine: Flared Magwell
  • Stock: Composite Stock
  • Catalyst: Subsistence Refit or Onslaught Refit

In PvE, you want smooth handling and better stability rather than raw range, so Fluted Barrel and Composite Stock help with that. Flared Magwell boosts your reload speed, which is always helpful.

For Catalysts, Subsistence Refit is great if you like firing off multiple Wyvern shots, as it automatically reloads 5 bullets back into the mag, perfect for chaining attacks.

Also, Onslaught Refit makes the gun fire faster when aiming down sights, helping you clear waves of weaker enemies quicker and boosting burst damage with the Wyvern shot.

Best Choir of One God Roll for PvP

For PvP, here’s a good all-round setup:

  • Barrel: Fluted Barrel
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Stock: Short-Action Stock
  • Catalyst: Onslaught Refit

In PvP, handling and stability are still important, but range also matters a lot. Fluted Barrel and Short-Action Stock give you great handling, and Accurized Rounds gives you that extra reach.

While the perk options for PvP aren’t super impressive (since this gun is more PvE-focused), Onslaught Refit is your best bet. The increased fire rate can help you land quick kills before your opponent even reacts.
