How to Get Bar 99 Chest Passcode/Code – Stellar Blade

Learn how to unlock the mysterious Bar 99 chest in Stellar Blade. This quick guide goes over starting the right side quest, getting the code, and grabbing good upgrade materials inside. Excellent for early-game players to give a boost to EVE’s strength and make the most out of their explorations.

Unlocking the Bar 99 Chest in Stellar Blade

When you are just starting Stellar Blade, you get thrown into the first area of the game—Eidos 7—where you begin learning the lessons of life as EVE. While walking around, you may have stumbled into Bar 99. Inside is an incredibly tempting chest locked away that without the appropriate passcode, won’t open.

But here is the catch—you will not be able to open it right away.

So, how do you get that code?

You’ll need to complete a side mission called Legion’s Secret Stash, but this one isn’t available from the start. First, continue progressing through the main story until you’ve finished your mission in Altess Levoire. After that, make your way back to Xion, where the quest board (located next to Roxanne) will have some fresh tasks available.

Pro tip: If the quest isn’t showing up, go back and wrap up any pending side quests first. Sometimes a little clean-up is needed before new options appear.

Once the stash mission becomes available, grab it and talk to Adam to proceed. You’ll then need to return to Eidos 7.

Back at Eidos 7…

Make your way near the broken bridge, and you’ll spot the building marked Bar 99. Before rushing in, scan the area with your drone. There’s an enemy nearby waiting to jump you—take care of them first. Inside the bar, there’s another tricky opponent who has a habit of vanishing mid-fight, so keep your guard up.

After you’ve cleared the place out, use your drone again. You should see a body and the locked chest. Interact with the body to uncover the code: 1221.

What’s inside the chest?

You’ll score:

  • Nano Elements
  • Advanced Nano Elements
  • Extreme Nano Elements

These are all super useful for upgrading EVE’s Exospines, so it’s worth the detour.
