In Dynasty Warriors, horses are not decorative, but played an important role in combating the enemy and exploration. Walnut is achieved through the main story itself as you start your journey. With your increase of the “Peace Level” on different regions as you progress, you could unlock many steeds with special abilities such as speedy steeds, long-lasting steeds, and steeds that have particular combat abilities.
These abilities include increased stability and charge distance to stunning enemies and even reducing arrow damage. Riding your horses in battle will improve their level, and they become a valuable asset in your pursuit of victory.
All Horses & How to Get Them
You’ll earn your first horse, Walnut, as you play through the main story. To get more horses, you’ll need to increase the “Peace Level” of different regions in the game. Once you do, you can claim your new horse at the nearest Waymark (a travel point) within that region. Just like improving your weapons, you level up your horses by simply riding them in battle. The more you use a horse, the more experience it gains, making it stronger and more effective.
In Dynasty Warriors, you can summon and ride horses during combat.
