How to Get All 57 Tools (Amulets, Throwables, Bells, Etc.) in Silksong

In Hollow Knight: Silksong, tools help Hornet fight enemies, explore tricky areas, and survive longer. There are 57 different tools you can find, like amulets, bells, throwables, and more. Some tools can be crafted at benches, some are hidden, and others can be bought from shops or earned by finishing quests. In this guide, you will find out where to get every tool and what each one does to help you on your adventure.

How To Get All 57 Tools

There are a total of 57 tools in Hollow Knight Silksong, including amulets, bells, throwables, and more. Below are the locations of all 57 tools along with the maps.

NOTE: You can click on the images to enlarge

Compass

You can buy this from Shakra in The Marrow for 70 Rosaries. Once equipped, it lets you see your location on the map, making navigation much easier.

Magnetite Brooch

You can buy this from the store in Bone Bottom for 60 Rosaries. Once equipped, it acts like a magnet, pulling dropped Rosaries toward Hornet, which makes collecting money much faster and easier.

Shard Pendant

Near the end of The Marrow, you will find a lava-filled room. Climb up to a room with spikes and collapsible platforms, go halfway to the bone bridge, then cross it and enter the room beyond to grab this Tool. With it, enemies will drop more Shell Shards, which are useful for repairing tools and completing quests.

Flint Slate

You will find this in the big area that opens up after using the Simple Key door in the Deep Docks, just below the merchant there. With it, Hornet can heat up her needle, adding bonus fire damage to all of her attacks.

Sting Shard

You can buy this from the Forge Daughter in the Deep Docks for 140 Rosaries and 1 Craftmetal. When used, Hornet tosses a spiny ball into the air that expands and bursts, dealing damage to anything nearby for a short time.

Magma Ball

You can craft this with the Forge Daughter in the Deep Docks, using 1 Craftmetal and 110 Rosaries. It’s a sturdy iron bell designed to protect Hornet from the extreme heat, reducing the damage she takes from fire and magma while exploring the area.

Straight Pin

You can find this ability by rescuing Grindle from jail in The Marrow, which is located in the tall room on the far right side of the area. Once you have it, you will be able to toss pins at enemies like quick-throwing knives, letting you deal solid damage from a distance in rapid bursts.

Druids Eye

Finish the Berry Picking quest from the Moss Druid in The Marrow to get this. With it equipped, every time Hornet takes a hit, she releases a bit of green liquid that lets her recover some of her lost Silk.

Weavelight

You will get this in the Weavenest Atla as a reward for defeating the Moss Mother Duo boss fight. Equipping it makes Hornet regenerate Silk much faster, giving you a steady flow of resources for combat and healing.

Needle Phial

You will get the Needle Phial at the start of the Alchemist’s Assistant Wish after talking to Alchemist Zylotol in the Wormways. It’s a tool that lets you extract and store fluids, but you will need to fully charge it with tension before you can pierce and use it.

Plasmium Phial

You will get this from the Alchemist Zylotol after finishing the “Alchemist’s Assistant” quest. When used, Hornet stabs herself to temporarily boost her max health. It never breaks, but after 20 uses you will need to return to Zylotol to have it refilled though it will cost you.

Dead Bugs Purse

Head to the Wormways, starting from Shellwood, to find the Dead Bugs Purse. You will find it on the corpse of a dead bug. With it, dying won’t make you lose all of your Rosaries, so you can keep more of your hard-earned currency.

Curve Claw

You can buy this for 140 Rosaries from the hidden ant merchant in Hunter’s March, found west of the boss room in a trap-filled corridor. If you miss buying it before the merchant dies, don’t worry you will still be able to pick it up later in the top room of the same tall hallway. Once you have it, Hornet can throw a boomerang that sweeps forward and then curves back above her in a wide arc.

Fractured Mask

You can buy this from the hidden ant merchant in Hunter’s March for 260 Rosaries. He’s tucked away in a secret corridor above the bench, hidden behind a wall. If you don’t manage to buy it before he dies, you will still find it on his corpse in the same spot. This upgrade coats all of Hornet’s tools with poison, making it super valuable. It also works with the Flea Brew, turning Hornet into a poisonous cloud which doesn’t harm her.

Warding Bell

In Far Fields, look for the tall room with strong wind gusts. Drop all the way to the bottom, go through the door on the left, and you will find what looks like a dead end. Jump around there to uncover a hidden path that leads to this Tool. When equipped, it protects Hornet from taking extra damage while healing once per encounter. You will still use up your Silk, but it also pushes enemies away to give you some breathing room.

Curve Sickle

You can get the Curvesickle in the room above the Far Fields Bellway. First, hit all four targets with a single throw of the Curveclaw and give it to the bug. Then rest at the nearest bench and return to the target room to claim the Curvesickle. It’s a sharp, curved weapon used by skilled hunters to take down tough prey.

Weighted Belt

To get a Weighted Belt, you need to buy it in Pilgrim’s Rest (Far Fields) from the store. It costs 30 Rosaries to enter the shop and 160 Rosaries to purchase the Tool. Once equipped, it works like Hollow Knight’s Heavy Body; you won’t get knocked back when hit, and hitting enemies won’t push you back either.

Silkspeed Anklet

To get this, head to Weavenest Cindril, which you can reach using the Needlin at the door on the far east side of Far Fields. Solve the puzzle by dashing over all the floor panels. Once you have it, Hornet can run faster, though running will now use up Silk.

Threefold Pin

Head to the big room on the east side of Greymoor and complete the combat trial inside the house to unlock the balloons. Use those balloons and the platforms to reach the upper right corner, where you will find a hidden room behind a large Craw enemy. Inside, you will get an upgrade that lets Hornet throw three knives upward at a 45-degree angle in a spread, perfect for hitting enemies above you.

Flea Brew

To get this Tool, first find five Fleas and then talk to Fleamaster Mooshka at the caravan in The Marrow. Travel with them to Greymoor and speak to Grishkin, who will give you the reward. Using it lets Hornet drink a brew that boosts her attack speed. The best part is you don’t have to repair it—every time you rest at a bench, the drink automatically refills from your reserves. Once those run out, just head back to the caravan to top it up again.

Pimpillo

The Pimpillo can be crafted at a table above Yarnaby’s bellhome in Greymoor, using 1 Craftmetal. It’s a fabric pouch filled with explosive material that detonates on impact with enemies or when its fuse is lit, making it perfect for dealing area damage.

Multibinder

You can pick this up from the upgraded store in Bellhart for 880 Rosaries. With it, Hornet can heal up to 5 Masks instead of the usual amount, though keep in mind the binding process will take a bit longer.

Longpin

To get Longpin, you need to go to the Shellwood area. Go to the northeast corner of the first big area. Here you will find a hidden room. Inside, you will find the Longpin. It works a lot like the Javelin from Castlevania, Hornet throws a long pin forward in a low arc, great for hitting enemies a little farther out.

Pollip Pouch

Complete the Rite of the Pollip quest to get this upgrade. It adds poison to all of Hornet’s tools, making it incredibly powerful. Even the Flea Brew gets affected, turning Hornet into a poisonous cloud—and don’t worry, she won’t take damage from it herself!

Wispfire Lantern

You get the Wispfire Lantern as a reward for defeating the Father of the Flame boss in the area of Bellhart, west of Wisp Thicket. It’s a broken iron lantern filled with smoldering wispfire, which spawns burning wisps to attack enemies, though using it consumes Silk.

Magnetite Dice

Go to the Bellway. Here, on the left side, you will find Magnetite Dice on a dead bug. In the tall room, go through the bottom left door, and you will see the Tool sparkling at the end. Equipping it gives you a small chance to block one mask of damage whenever you get hit.

Thief’s Mark

You can buy the Thief’s Mark from Grindle in the Blasted Steps area for 350 Rosaries. Wearing it helps Hornet identify herself to other thieves, letting her earn extra Rosaries from defeated enemies but watch out, taking damage will cause you to lose some Rosaries.

Snitch Pick

You can buy the Snitch Pick from Grindle in the Blasted Steps area for 740 Rosaries. It’s a hooked tool that lets Hornet harpoon into enemies to steal Rosaries and Shell Shards, dealing extra damage while grabbing loot.

Conchcutters

You will find the Conchcutters in the Coral Tower cave in the Sands of Karak area. They’re spiral-shaped weapons made from hardened conchspire, which you can throw at an angle to bounce off surfaces and surprise enemies.

Volt Filament

You get the Volt Filament as a reward for defeating the Voltvyrm boss in the Voltnest area of Sands of Karak. It’s a charged organ from the defeated creature that can be wrapped around Hornet’s thread, adding an electric charge to her Silk Skills.

Injector Bands

In Whiteward, near the end of the area, jump onto a ledge just above Hornet and you will spot it sparkling. Picking it up lets Hornet bind faster, meaning she can heal more quickly in the middle of combat.

Scuttlebrace

You can buy this from the Twelfth Architect in the Underworks for 360 Rosaries. When used, Hornet drops a sawblade in front of her that rolls forward on its own, slicing through every enemy in its path.

Cogwork Wheel

You can buy this from the Twelfth Architect in the Underworks for 230 Rosaries. When equipped, using the Drifter’s Cloak or Faydown Cloak will cause a spinning blade to appear around Hornet for a moment, slicing anything nearby.

Sawtooth Circlet

You can craft the Sawtooth Circlet with the Twelfth Architect in the Underworks, using 1 Craftmetal and 230 Rosaries. It’s a flexible belt with serrated metal teeth that attaches to Hornet’s cloak. When she flares the cloak, the blades spin, hitting and damaging nearby enemies.

Delvers Drill

You will find the Delver’s Drill on a table in the southwestern part of the Underworks. It’s a rotary tool that lets Hornet bore into bone and rock, driving her downward while spinning with destructive force to crush anything in its path.

Ascendants Grip

You can buy the Ascendant’s Grip from Jubilana in Songclave for 350 Rosaries after completing the Wandering Merchant Wish. It’s a gilded piton that lets Hornet hold her position on walls, making climbing and platforming much easier.

Spool Extender

You can buy the Spool Extender from Jubilana in Songclave for 720 Rosaries after completing the Wandering Merchant Wish. This tool, inspired by a Weaver artefact, lets Hornet store more Silk than she normally can, giving her extra resources for combat and skills.

Spider Strings

You can buy the Spider Strings from Jubilana in Songclave for 320 Rosaries after completing the Lost Merchant Wish. This advanced Weaver tool works with music to amplify and enhance performances, boosting the range and power of Hornet’s Needolin.

Voltvessels

You will find the Voltvessels on a table in the northeastern part of the Memorium during Act 3. These versatile orbs hold electricity and can be thrown like a bola for an explosive shock or placed like a spear to release a column of energy, making them great for flexible attacks.

Rosary Cannon

You can find the Rosary Cannon on a table in the Forum area of High Halls. It’s a repurposed part from a rosary-stringing machine, and you need to load it with Rosaries to fire, turning your currency into a powerful weapon.

Reserve Bind

You get the Reserve Bind as a reward for defeating the Second Sentinel boss in the southeastern part of The Forum. This ornate Citadel artifact stores a full Bind’s worth of Silk, letting Hornet heal even when her natural Silk is low. The Reserve Bind refills automatically whenever she rests at a bench.

Cogfly

Crafted at a table in the High Falls area using 1 Craftmetal. This winged cogwork companion automatically seeks out nearby enemies and attacks them.

Claw Mirror

Defeat Trobbio in the Whispering Vaults (The Stage area) to get this upgrade. After that, every time Hornet binds or heals, she releases a burst of light that damages any enemies nearby.

Dark Mirror

The Claw Mirrors, also called the Dark Mirror, are unlocked after you defeat Tormented Trobbio. When you use them, they release a powerful blast that damages all nearby enemies.

Claw Mirror

You get the Claw Mirrors as a reward for defeating the Tormented Trobbio boss in the Stage area of the Whispering Vaults during Act 3. These twin tools, originally used by a theatrical bug, release a powerful blast when Hornet binds, damaging all enemies nearby.

Quick Sling

Found by breaking through a false ceiling in the Bilewater area. This reed-and-bone mechanism mounts on a bug’s limb and lets Hornet throw twice as many tools at once.

Silkshot

You can get the Silkshot by first finding the Ruined Tool in the southeastern part of Bilewater and then taking it to the Forge Daughter in the Deep Docks. She repairs and upgrades it into a powerful ancient Weaver weapon that fires using shell canisters and Hornet’s own Silk.

Throwing Ring

Trigger the Trail’s End Wish on the Bellhart wishboard, then find Shakra in the far northeast of Bilewater. This hardened throwing weapon rebounds between enemies and surfaces, dealing blunt-force damage.

Pin Badge

Reward for defeating the Pinstress boss in the Mount Fay area during Act 3. An emblem of the old blademasters of Pharloom, it reduces the charge time of Hornet’s Needle Strike.

Longclaw

Reward for completing the Broodfeast Wish for the Huntress in the Putrefied Ducts. Made from a large predator’s talon, it increases the range of Needle attacks.

Wreath of Purity

Found on a platform in the Putrefied Ducts. This fragile band of reed and leaf repels Muckmaggots. If it breaks, it repairs itself when you rest at a bench.

Egg of Flealia

Reward for completing the Lost Fleas Wish for Fleamaster Mooshka in The Marrow. A symbolic talisman of protection from the mythical mother flea, it lowers the cost of Silk Skills while Hornet’s health is full.

Tacks

Reward for completing the Roach Guts Wish for Crull and Benjin in the Sinner’s Road area. Short pins that can be scattered on the ground, piercing any enemy that steps on them.

Barbed Bracelets

Found on a bug corpse in Sinner’s Road. This vicious bracelet increases the damage Hornet deals with her Needle, but also makes her take more damage.

Memory Crystal

You will find it hidden behind a wall of ice in the Mount Fay area. It’s a reflective crystal that stores a memory of Hornet whenever she takes damage, and if an enemy touches it, the memory shatters into sharp spines that hurt them.
