The Golden Tide event in Roblox Fisch brings exciting new challenges and rewards! From January 11th to 25th, 2025, you can participate in special events like Algae Hunts and explore unique Golden Tide Pools. Completing the Tides of Gold questline rewards you with three powerful new fishing rods: the Firework Rod, the Rod of the Exalted One, and the elusive Auric Rod. Each rod boasts unique stats and offers a significant advantage in your fishing adventures.

Get ready for the Golden Tide! This special event, which happens only once every hundred years, features a massive golden wave in the ocean. The Golden Tide event runs from January 11th to January 25th, 2025. During the event, you can encounter new creatures, explore special Golden Tide Pools, participate in Algae Hunts, meet the new NPC Dr. Glimmerfin, and embark on a quest with exciting rewards! You will also get 3 new fishing rods which will help you in Fisch. The 3 fishing rods are:
- Rod of the Exalted One
- Lure Speed: 55%
- Luck: 170%
- Control: 0.15
- Resilience: 20%
- Max Weight of Fish: 70,000 Kg
- Firework Rod
- Lure Speed: 35%
- Luck: 45%
- Control: 0.15
- Resilience: 15%
- Max Weight of Fish: 250,000 Kg
- Auric Rod
- Lure Speed: 20%
- Luck: 25%
- Control: 0.5
- Resilience: 20%
- Max Weight of Fish: 2,500 Kg
Firework Rod
To begin the Tides of Gold Quest, you need to talk to Dr. Glimmerfin, who you can find in Moosewood. After speaking with him, he’ll ask you to collect four different types of Algae from various islands. I’ve listed each type of Algae below, along with the specific requirements for catching each one. Upon successfully collecting all four types of Algae and returning them to Dr. Glimmerfin, you’ll be rewarded with a valuable Firework Rod, the prestigious title of Glimmerfin’s Pupil, and Dr. Glimmerfin’s personal boat!
Ancient Algae
To get Ancient Algae, you’ll need to fish in the Ancient Algae Pool near Ancient Island. Before the event begins, you’ll receive a server-wide message announcing the appearance of Algae near Ancient Island. Head outside Ancient Isle, and you’ll find a pool like the one in the image. Start fishing within this grid-like area to catch Ancient Algae.
Important Note: There’s a limited number of Algae in each pool. So, be quick and try to catch the Algae before someone else does!
Snowcap Algae
Snowcap Algae can also be found in a small pool near Snowcap Island. You’ll receive a server-wide message announcing the appearance of Algae near Snowcap Island. Simply drive around the outer edges of Snowcap Island to locate the Algae pool. Start fishing in this pool to catch Snowcap Algae.
Important Note: There’s a limited number of Snowcap Algae in each pool. So, be quick and try to catch the Algae before someone else does!
Forsaken Algae
To get Forsaken Algae, wait for a server-wide message announcing the appearance of Algae near Forsaken Shores Island. Once you receive this message, head to Forsaken Shores Island and sail around its outer edges in a boat. You’ll find a pool-like area with a grid and a sign indicating its availability. Use your best fishing rod, such as the Rod of Depths or Heavens Rod, to increase your chances of catching Forsaken Algae in this area.
Mushgrove Algae
Mushgrove Algae can be found in the Mushgrove Algae Pool. This pool will appear randomly, and you’ll receive a server-wide message announcing the appearance of Algae near the Mushgrove Swamp. Once you see this message, head to the Mushgrove Swamp and look for the pool outside the shore area. You can identify the pool by its grid pattern. Start fishing in this area to catch Mushgrove Algae.
Rod of the Exalted One
To obtain the powerful Exalted Rod in Fisch, you’ll need to collect 7 unique Enchant Relics, each with a different mutation. Once you have all 7, you must bring them to the hidden altar located within Musgrove Swamp and place them there. To get the Enchant Relics needed for the Exalted Rod in Fisch:
1. Red Hexed Enchant Relic:
- Method 1: Use the No-Life Rod (20% chance of getting the Hexed mutation).
- Method 2: Appraise an existing Enchant Relic at Moosewood (chance of getting the Hexed mutation).
2. Orange Crystalized Enchant Relic:
- Method 1: Use the Crystalized Rod (12% chance of getting the Crystalized mutation).
- Note: The Crystalized Rod is obtained after completing the Diamond Puzzle in the Frigid Cavern.
- Method 2: Appraisal cannot give you the Crystalized mutation.
3. Yellow Greedy Enchant Relic:
- Method 1: Use the Rod of the Eternal King (20% chance of getting the Greedy mutation).
- Method 2: Appraise an existing Enchant Relic at Moosewood (chance of getting the Greedy mutation).
4. Green Translucent Enchant Relic:
- Method 1: Use any rod with the Ghastly enchantment (20% chance of getting the Translucent mutation).
- Method 2: Appraise an existing Enchant Relic at Moosewood (chance of getting the Translucent mutation).
5. Cyan Atlantean Enchant Relic:
- Method 1: Use the Trident Rod (30% chance of getting the Atlantean mutation).
- Method 2: Appraisal cannot give you the Atlantean mutation.
6. Magenta Fossilized Enchant Relic:
- Method 1: Use the Voyager Rod (25% chance of getting the Fossilized mutation).
- Method 2: Appraise an existing Enchant Relic at Moosewood (chance of getting the Fossilized mutation).
7. Pink Mosaic Enchant Relic:
- Method 1: Appraise an existing Enchant Relic at Moosewood (chance of getting the Mosaic mutation).
Once you’ve gathered all 7 Enchant Relics, head to Musgrove Swamp. Look for a hidden entrance within the rock wall at coordinates 2730, 130, -820. You don’t need a switch to open the door, just walk right through it. An elevator will be waiting behind the door. Take the elevator to reach the puzzle room.
In the puzzle room, there are slots for you to place each of your Enchant Relics. Place each relic in its corresponding slot. Once all the relics are placed correctly, you’ll be rewarded with the powerful Rod of the Exalted One and 3 Exalted Relics of your own!
Auric Rod
Keep an eye on the in-game chat during the Sunken Chest event! Every hour or so, you’ll receive a message telling you which island has sunken treasure chests nearby. Sail around the edges of that island to find a cluster of treasure chests. Open as many chests as you can, and you might be lucky enough to find the powerful Auric Rod inside one of them!
