How To Get All 3 Silk Hearts in Hollow Knight Silksong
Silk Hearts are special upgrade items in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They not only restore Hornet’s ability to regenerate silk in her armor but are also required to unlock the “Regenerated” achievement/trophy. Each one is automatically consumed as soon as you pick it up, so you don’t have to worry about using it manually.
1. Silk Heart
You’ll get your first Silk Heart by defeating the Bell Beast, found in The Marrow. But before you can fight her, you’ll need to unlock the silk skill Silkspear. This skill is required to free her, which then lets you start the battle.
2. Silk Heart
You can get another one by defeating the boss in Whiteward, found behind the Surgeon’s Door. To open it, you’ll need the key, which is hidden just past the area with the big scissor-wielding enemies. After that, when you go to leave, don’t just jump up once jump up again, and you’ll discover a hidden spot in the ceiling.
3. Silk Heart
The last Silk Heart is tied to Lace, who you’ll find deep inside the Cogwork Core. To reach her, start from the Choral Chambers near The Cradle, then take the passage that leads into the Core. Ride the elevator up and continue forward until you reach her arena.
The Cogwork Core is a tricky maze of machinery, but luckily you can unlock its map pretty early. From the entrance, head down and left until you spot a doorway glowing faintly, with a bench sign nearby. Go inside, climb the wall, and you’ll run into a dormant warrior. Just past him, step on the pressure plate to reveal the map. Before you leave, make sure to activate the bench by striking the wheel above it’ll save you a lot of trouble later.
From there, fight your way through until you face Lace for the second time. Defeating her rewards you with the third Silk Heart and the White Knight. After the battle, Hornet will briefly faint, and you’ll have to complete a short platforming sequence before finally claiming the heart.
