How to Get Aeronautics Badge in PEAK – ‘Achieve Flight’

The Aeronautics Badge in PEAK is all about flying high with the help of balloons. It’s a fun challenge that lets you float over obstacles and explore the map from above. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find balloons, equip them, and take off, plus a few tips to make your flight smoother and safer.

How to Achieve Flight (Aeronautics Badge)

The goal here is simple: find some balloons, equip them, and take to the skies. But there’s a catch: you need to have five balloons equipped at the same time to earn the badge. First, make sure you’ve actually added the balloons to your inventory. Then, equip all five at once.

Balloons aren’t just lying around in the open, so don’t expect an easy grab. Instead, you’ll need to search through luggage boxes scattered around PEAK. Finding all five might take a bit of time, but once you’ve got them, you’re ready for liftoff.

Step 1: Gather 6 Balloons

To earn this badge, you need exactly six balloons.

  • We recommend carrying more than six because balloons pop after a while.
  • Bring a few extra bunches so you don’t run out mid-flight.

Step 2: Take Off

Once you’ve got your six balloons, simply press the jump button (space) to start floating upwards.

  • This will count as “achieving flight” and progress toward your badge.

Step 3: Avoid Mods for This Badge

If you’re using any flight-related mods, the game won’t count them.

  • The badge only works when you lift off using six balloons, no shortcuts.

Step 4: Prepare for a Crash Landing

Balloons only last about a minute before they pop.

  • When that happens, you’ll drop straight back to the ground.
  • It’s a handy way to quickly travel or skip areas, but don’t get too comfortable up there.

Even if you’re not chasing the Aeronautics Badge, it’s worth keeping a few balloons in your inventory. They can be a lifesaver during tricky climbs, catching you if you slip. Just remember, balloons aren’t parachutes. A huge fall from the top of a mountain will still hurt, but for smaller drops, they can greatly soften the impact.
