How to Get a Worm Tooth in Dune: Awakening

In Dune: Awakening, getting a Sandworm Tooth might sound scary, but it’s actually something you need to do to craft special items. You have to let a Sandworm eat you to get the tooth. In this guide,  we will explain how to get a Worm Tooth, where to find Sandworms, and how you can use the tooth once you have it.

How to Get a Worm Tooth

If you want to get a Sandworm Tooth in Dune Awakening, you will need to let a Sandworm eat you. After you respawn, you will find that the only item left in your inventory is the Sandworm Tooth. Once you have it, you can head over to Vermillius Gap, the Drumsands area there is one of the best spots to attract a Sandworm.

Keep in mind, the Sandworm Tooth is a bound item. That means you can’t drop it, store it, or collect more than one at a time. If you already have a Sandworm Tooth and get killed by another Sandworm, your existing tooth will simply be replaced with a new one. If you run out of inventory space, you can destroy the tooth manually by using the drop key.

Be very careful when farming for the tooth. Each time a Sandworm kills you, you’ll lose everything you were carrying. Also, if you’re in a vehicle or one happens to be nearby, the Sandworm will destroy it completely, and there’s no way to recover those items. So, it’s best to leave behind any valuable gear, vehicles, or supplies before trying to get the Sandworm Tooth.

How to Use Worm Tooth

In Dune Awakening, you can use the Sandworm Tooth to craft an Unfixed Crysknife. But first, you need to complete the Fourth Trial of Aql. Once you finish the trial, you will be able to craft the weapon using 1 Sandworm Tooth and 1 Plant Fibre. Keep in mind that the Unfixed Crysknife is also a bound item, which means you can only have one at a time, and you can’t drop or store it.
