How to Get a Mushroom Hat in Schedule 1

If you want to get the Mushroom Hat in Schedule 1, then you’ll need to build friendships, complete a few tasks, and explore some new areas to unlock it. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to meet the right characters, start the mushroom-growing questline, and get access to the Shrooms Beta update so you can get your very own Mushroom Hat.

How to Get a Mushroom Hat

You can get the Mushroom Hat directly from Fungal Phil in the Beta phase, but only after you’ve built a friendly relationship with him. Once that happens, he’ll message you himself. From there, you can order ingredients from him and buy the Mushroom Hat for $75.

Once you unlock the Downtown area and build a friendly relationship with either Elizabeth Homley or Kevin Oakley, they’ll introduce you to a supplier named Fungal Phil. He’ll show you the basics of growing mushrooms, and this introduction kicks off the questline “Vibin’ On The ’Cybin.”

Players were advised to focus on consistently selling drugs to either Kevin or Elizabeth and fulfilling their orders to raise their relationship status, which should then prompt Fungal Phil’s call.

How to start the Shrooms Beta update

Shrooms are only available in the beta version of Schedule 1. To access it, go to your Steam library, find Schedule 1, and right-click on it. Select Properties, then open the Betas tab. From the drop-down menu under Beta Participation, choose the option that says “beta – Hosts the beta version of Schedule 1.” Once you select it, Steam will automatically download a small update, and you’ll be good to go.

Decided that degrees were as useful as extra lives in a Mario game-totally unnecessary! I’m diving into the extravagant universe of my favourite game, Assassin’s Creed, which lets me roam the world without actually paying for plane tickets. Hodophile by nature and aspiring to get lost in Hang Sơn Đoòng cave in Vietnam someday!
