Getting a job in InZOI is essential, especially since your Zoi will quickly burn through your funds. Whether it’s spending on street food, claw machines, or lottery tickets, your starting money won’t last forever. Sooner or later, you’ll find yourself struggling to cover an upcoming utility bill, and as in real life, that means it’s time to send your Zoi to work.
Fortunately, finding a job in InZOI is simple—you just need to know where to look. There are two types of jobs available: active jobs, where you accompany your Zoi and take part in the work, and passive jobs, where your Zoi works independently without your involvement.
Your job options also depend on where you live. Whether you’re in Bliss Bay or Dowon, your location will influence the opportunities available. If you’re ready to send your Zoi into the workforce, here’s how to get started.
How to Get a Job in InZOI
To get started, open your smartphone next to your Zoi’s icon at the bottom of the screen and select the Careers app from the toolbar. This menu lets you browse through all the available jobs in your city and pick the best fit for your Zoi. Once you’ve made your choice, simply click Apply, and your Zoi will be instantly hired—no interview required. The only requirement is being old enough to work.
If you opt for an active career and want to earn more or work toward a promotion, you’ll need to accompany your Zoi to work and complete a set of daily tasks. You can also let them go alone while you focus on other things, but this will slow their progress. Unlike in some other games, Zoi’s won’t naturally perform well enough to earn a promotion without some input from you.
For part-time jobs, things work a bit differently—there’s no opportunity for a raise or promotion, so your Zoi’s earnings will remain the same.
Working Your Way Up in InZOI
When it’s time for work, your Zoi will leave the lot and head to their job. Depending on the type of job, you might simply wait for them to return, or you may have to follow them to their workplace and complete tasks on-site. Jobs with a gray briefcase icon are the ones where your Zoi goes to work independently, while jobs without this icon allow you to accompany them.
Each job has different schedules and requirements. Most jobs only require work three days a week, but some have four- or five-day schedules. This is important to keep in mind since your Zoi only earns money on the days they work. If you’re in urgent need of funds, choosing a job with more workdays—or using a money cheat—might be necessary. You can check your Zoi’s work schedule anytime via their smartphone.
While some career tracks are available in both cities (such as military and criminal), each city also has unique job opportunities. Dowon, inspired by Seoul, features career tracks like esports and pop idol, whereas Bliss Bay, modeled after Los Angeles, offers careers in football and amusement park management.
Unlike The Sims, promotions in Inzoi don’t seem to depend on specific skills. Instead, as long as your Zoi consistently shows up to work, their performance will improve, eventually leading to a promotion.
How to Resign or Lose Your Job in InZOI
To resign from your job, open the Careers app, where your current position will be displayed. Look for the calendar icon with a small cross on the left side of the screen—this is the resign button. Clicking it will prompt you to confirm by selecting the red resign button. Keep in mind that if you choose to reapply later, your job rank will be reset.
Additionally, if your Zoi misses three consecutive workdays, they will automatically lose their job.
