In Schedule 1, expanding your operation and increasing your profits necessitates upgrading your living and working spaces. Starting with a modest motel room, you’ll progressively acquire larger properties, each offering more room for cultivation, production, and automation. This guide will outline the steps to secure bigger houses and plots, from the initial Sweatshop apartment to the more substantial Bungalow and eventually, the Barn, providing insights into the financial requirements and strategic advantages of each upgrade.
How to Get a Larger Plot
Uncle Nelson’s first real task for you—after you’ve got the basics down—is to get yourself a bigger place. You’ll need to save up $800 to buy the Sweatshop apartment, which is right above the Fat Dragon Chinese Restaurant. Look for it in front of the stairs to the left of your motel room. Knock on the door and talk to Mrs. Ming, and she’ll sell it to you for $800 in cash.
Once you’ve got the keys, head around to the alley behind the building and go up the stairs. The new place is twice the size of your motel room, but it’s completely unfurnished. You’ll have to move all your furniture over one piece at a time. When you’re set up, you’ll have enough space for about eight Grow Tents and a Packaging Station.
To make things easier, consider hiring a Botanist once you unlock them—they can take care of all your plants, giving you a steady, automated supply to package and distribute to your dealers. Or, if you’d rather, you can turn this spot into your main Meth cooking station once you unlock the second large home.
How to Get a Bigger House
The Bungalow is a great investment because it allows you to hire up to four employees and has plenty of space for setting up a fully automated farm. You can buy it from Ray’s Real Estate for $6,000, making it the first large property you’ll own. It’s located in Westville, so be sure to find it as soon as possible and start upgrading and automating your production setup.
Keep in mind that the Bungalow can only be purchased using money from your ATM. Once you’ve maxed out production at both the Bungalow and the Sweatshop, your next step is the Barn—but it comes with a hefty price tag of $25,000 in ATM cash.
